As an eclectic collector who doesn’t limit myself to one genre, Laura has helped me acquire several of her own works plus pieces by other artists she showcases. The artwork hangs in my homes in Seattle and Virginia. She has also helped me find an artist to commission a piece my brother wanted done. Gray Sky Gallery is a vibrant, exciting gallery among the many galleries in Pioneer Square. There is a variety of contemporary art always on display and a visitor can also see the working studio of owner, Laura Van Horne. She was at the gallery when I was there and she was eager to have a conversation with my friend and I, both artists, about the artists and the artworks that were exhibited. I thought it was very interesting that she also rents out her space to other artists if they'd like to have a pop up show! I found the gallery a friendly place to visit and I will be sure to go back when I am visiting...
