What a fun, unique, and relaxing experience!
The location was easy to find, parking was very easy (compared to the absolute mess of a parking situation that Seattle generally is), and the staff were kind, thorough, and helpful.
We booked on a holiday (Monday night) experience, had no issues with check in, arrived about 25 min prior to the start time of the rental. We were able to get checked in right away, and got right to the dressing room to store our belongings, change, and get situated within 10 minutes.
The hot tub boat itself was super cute with thoughtful touches such as water cooler with canned water, a JBL speaker, and a wet box for phones and other things. They play a helpful and informative video before sending you on your way. The boat is a tad bit shallow and you do float a bit - something to keep in mind.
Upon return, we waited in our boat for a few minutes while the group ahead of us finished using the changing area. They allowed us to stay in the warm comfort of the boat instead of freezing in the waiting area, so that was wonderful. They turned on a nice hot shower for us and there were many amenities and toiletries to choose from!
Recommendations: We let the staff know that perhaps a big neon sign would be helpful on the dockside so folks at night are able to easily locate where to return. They do provide most things but are missing a hair dryer, so that may be something you want to pack as well. Flip flops too for the wet floor as it is pretty cold.
Accessibility concern: Like most of Seattle, this location seemed to be a stairs-only location. I did not note any accessible points of entry or elevators. The changing rooms are standard size and are not ADA accessible.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely come back again to enjoy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, relaxing experience, or just to have fun on a lake with a...
Read moreWe had a great experience with Hot Tub Boats. I liked that these boats seem really solid and had a deck you could easily sit on. I read reviews about the other boats and people complained that lakewater would seep in, and the Woodfire would not burn properly, so I went with these guys. They have nice warm changing rooms, a bathroom and secure lockers for your things you canât bring on the boat. They are very instructive about what you can and cannot do and very patient with landlubbers like us. Free water too. At first, I wasnât sure we would be able to get back easily because when you are out on the lake, they are kind of hard to spot. However, we did find them OK, and when I mentioned that to the boat dock manager, he said that in an event like that they will come and get you. So I figured that it was something like the grocery store employees enjoying getting the shopping carts because it gets them a few minutes of outdoor time. I imagine the boat guys like to come out and ârescueâ people to get away from the phones and swabbing the deck for a few minutes. Just a guess. đ The joystick is a little awkward and takes some getting used to and of course it only goes what seems like 1 or 2 miles an hour, which is fine since weâre not in a hurry to get anywhere. I really enjoyed watching the sea planes land. Would definitely recommend this as a unique unusual experience, especially if you like hot...
Read moreThis was BY FAR the best experience I've ever done in Seattle! We rented the boat for my birthday and invited a few friends to come along. You walk into the building (which is a big boathouse), and you're immediately intrigued with the fun lighting and warm environment. The check-in process was so easy, and we were given the option to put epsom salts in the hot tub. They had about 4-5 different options, so you can choose what scent you like most. They have little wooden lockers to put your things in while you're out on the boat. They provided a cute little cooler with cold water, and a big JBL bluetooth speaker to take out with you. It was such an amazing experience to ride along the perimeter of the bay and see all the house boats that you can't see from the streets, as well as being up close to the city (highly recommend making an evening reservation so the city is lit up!). The boat itself was very beautiful and well made with the wood on the sides. The small joystick made it very easy to drive while still enjoying the heat of the hot tub. When you get back to the boathouse, they have a hot shower waiting with a huge variety of shampoos/conditioners and soaps so you can rinse/clean off before leaving. Overall, the experience was 10/10 and I already want to do it again! Such a fun thing to do with close friends during all seasons. 100% worth the price, you will...
