I had the great pleasure of dining at the restaurant Fiasco yesterday (Thursday) late evening with my new friend Sarah! This restaurant was recommended to me by my friend Olivia, who generally has wonderful taste in dining establishments and so I knew we were truly in for a treat. After a long afternoon of Lake Union based adventures (swimming down by the Museum of History and Industry! Taking a spin in a hot tub boat! Practicing mindfulness and working towards our physical fitness goals with group yoga in Gasworks park!) we were famished and ready for a yummy meal.
We arrived at Fiasco after a quick walk from the park and had a short, easy wait before we were seated at a comfortable and spacious table outside. We had a lot of fun perusing the expansive menu, especially the wide variety of interesting and original cocktails. We decided on the Vine Whip and WeHo Shuffle and found them both to be exceptionally refreshing on a hot summer evening. For our meal choices we wavered between all of the delicious sounding options but ultimately made up our minds and settled on salads - the Chunky Avocado Salad (with shrimp added) for Sarah, and the Classic Caesar (with fried chicken added) for me. I can't speak much for the Chunky Avocado, but I loved the dressing and tiny crouton topping on my Classic Caesar. The fried chicken I added was delicious but probably not necessary given our choice to splurge on an extra appetizer (the Balsamic Garlic Toasted Baguette) which filled us right up to the brim. Altogether, a wonderful meal after a wonderful day!
TLDR: Great cocktails, spacious outdoor seating, and delicious salad dressing. Going to the bathroom is a bit of a journey, but you should probably go anyway....
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of dining at Fiasco in Seattle for a celebratory meal with the owner of a home where we had just completed a roof replacement. The experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
The service at Fiasco was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout the evening. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the perfect setting for our celebration.
We started our meal with the Burrata appetizer. The creamy burrata paired beautifully with the heirloom tomatoes and balsamic reduction, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Next, we enjoyed the Fiasco Caesar Salad, which was fresh and crisp with a delightful anchovy dressing that elevated the dish.
For our main courses, we tried the Braised Short Ribs and the Grilled Salmon. The short ribs were incredibly tender, practically melting in our mouths, and were served with a rich, savory jus that was absolutely delicious. The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection, with a lovely char on the outside while remaining moist and flaky inside. The accompanying asparagus and lemon beurre blanc sauce complemented the fish wonderfully.
To finish our meal, we indulged in the Tiramisu. It was light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness to end our dining experience on a high note.
Overall, Fiasco provided an exceptional dining experience that perfectly matched the celebratory mood of our evening. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for outstanding food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We will definitely...

Our server Ashlyn forgot my pasta and when I brought it to her attention I was met with a rude attitude telling me that I did not order any pasta instead of an apology for forgetting my order. I was completely okay with a small mistake but not with the attitude I received. I asked for another drink instead and was again met with attitude and another server came over to tell us that last call had already happened. Our table was never told about last call or even given the opportunity to order anything else before they stopped taking orders. Our table was neglected and only checked on to be brought the bill while the white women next to us were checked on and even brought to go boxes while our server completely ignored our table and sent over the host and another server to complete our payment. All this while being one of two tables in the patio. The staff handled the situation very poorly and not a single apology was said, they only seemed to care about our "experience" when I asked for the servers name and we were finally asked if we had any concerns.
I would not recommend to any person of color to ever come to this restaurant it is very clear that they do not care about their customers experience this was especially obvious when the white women next to us clearly were not met with the same attitude...
