Volunteer Park Amphitheater — Attraction in Seattle

We went here for the free Thursday night concert series. Plenty ofnopen spaces, both in the sun and the shade. There were 6 different artists playing from 6p to 8:30p, all backed by a string quartet. Wow! Nice food truck selection although beware that the Mexican food truck will attempt to charge you more than the prices listed on their menu. Delightful location to take in a show, especially on a day. I wish there was a central location that lists all the performances that take place here. As it is, you can follow the Volunteer Park Trust and you'll get their summer concert series, free days at the Botanical Garden, and restoration work party days. However, lots of other organizations put on events there, like Shakespeare in the Park and Pride in the Park, but those aren't listed on...
