Are great 1.8 mile loop is available for the casual Sedona visitor. Take CRUSTY to GRAND CENTRAL, then COYOTE and return via ADOBE JACK. If you do the loop in this sequence you will only be facing the Sun for the CRUSTY part and for the remainder of your hike the sun will be at your side or back. The walk is about 80% shady [mid AUG @ 6:30 am] and is a cool walk through a forest grove. If you wish, you can double your walk by continuing on Grand Central [skip the Manzanita trail unless you want to abort half of this upper loop]. Be careful if it has rained previous day since trail crosses and uses many washes that could be full on water.

I rated this moderate because for us, we had a 10 month old. And by we, my partner used this awesome backpack carrier for hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed this trail. A mix of locals amd tourist use this trail. We seen many bicyclists and all people we encountered were friendly. Some were walking their dogs too. Great experience. We got there before 9am and 4 of 6 parking spaces were empty.

Beautiful trail. Not a lot of parking, so best to get there outside of peak hours. The trails are relatively easy for beginners, although of course you still want to have proper footwear- lots of rocks and loose footing that, though not difficult to traverse, is not ideal for open toed shoes. The trails have beautiful views, and I definitely recommend bringing a camera!

We really love this Trail. I would consider it easy to moderate. Along parts of the trail including the beginning, you will hear plenty of traffic noise and be in view of homes and businesses. Soon after the beginning of the trail though it will become peaceful and quiet and much of the time you'll have a trail to yourself. The views are beautiful, and we also loved the pine trees. We also really enjoyed the walk because it's not too long and it took us about an hour and a half. It's also a very popular trail with mountain bikers, so you'll have to watch out for those while you're...

I've never even thought of rating a trail before but please don't take this unless you want to get lost and end up wondering into someone's yard. We took the street back. I seriously think this is not supposed to be a trail anymore and they built a community around it. If there is a nice trail here, well we couldn't find it because nothing is marked and there are tons of trails off of other trails to lead you in the wrong direction and we hike almost every...
