No problems whatsoever was charging in about 15 seconds. Yes it was brand new stations that electrify America reinstalled to all of their stations that are much faster. Much better experience than EVGO. But I hope most of you are charging in your garage and only using this as a last resort or you're throwing money out the window. 48 cents a kilowatt at 9:00 on a Sunday That is a rip off. Also one problem seems to be with all electrify America charging stations each charging post can charge two cars but there's only one spot for those two chargers and it seems to be the same everywhere you go with them. But they were very reliable and very fast and brand new. If you were to put their 150 kW charger up against EVGO 350 kw with a Ford mustang Mach E The charging time was twice as fast with electrify America. I can only take 150 kilowatts. But yet the charge was must faster with electrify America but more expensive and yes they do have 350 kilowatt chargers there...
Read moreEvery single charging station we've used in Arizona (Yuma, gilbert, Sedona) have been an issue. Sadly for a rental car requiring a CCS charger, not a tesla, they are the most found type & yet most are useless. The bank of 7 chargers in Gilbert (Santan Mall), only 2...
Read moreCharging station is great & surrounded by endless walking trails, dog park, skate park, and pickle ball courts. Beware though that if you leave your vehicle unattended, passerbyers or other EV customers may disconnect your charger (to attempt using it for themselves? Which doesn’t work!) This was the only unfortunate part of my experience - someone disconnected my vehicle halfway through to a full charge & when I returned, I had to restart the charge session...
