To start off, we made our reservations almost 2 months ago and like we had the past several years of coming here requested a particular room. When we got here, it was a completely different room and a downstairs one at that. That would be okay if this was not an old hotel and everything creeks and makes loud noises when someone moves. The on-call number from the "contactless" check in sheet was answered by an older woman who didn't give a damn and basically said pound sand that this is what the system created. New management is anything but customer service oriented. There is a new camera that was literally outside our door, so that was creepy going in and out of our room, if you want security...maybe hire a professional to install. We intentionally requested upstairs especially since we have an infant and new it would be too loud with people walking around who were apparently practicing how long it would take them to walk and stomp to China. It kept her up and needless to say a relatively good sleeping baby was up throughout the night and cranky. But who wants their guests to have a nice stay? Also bring your own towels unless you can fit comfortably into the cheap grade hand sizes towels they give you to dry off in after the shower pounds you with so much pressure! I'm all for a good shower pressure but this almost tore your skin off. Can you tell we had a great...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to share my experience. One of the standout features of this hotel is its great location. It is conveniently walkable to a health food market and a variety of delicious restaurants, making it easy to enjoy local culinary offerings. Additionally, the parking lot is safe and easily accessible, which was a definite plus for our stay.
However, I did encounter a few drawbacks during my visit. The bed was a bit too soft for my personal comfort, which made it challenging to get a good night's sleep. I also would have appreciated having a hot water kettle in the room for convenience.
Unfortunately, the noise from the female neighbors next door was quite disruptive, making it difficult to relax and sleep peacefully at times. On a positive note, I was pleased to find the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which greatly added to the overall comfort of our stay.
Lastly, I want to extend my appreciation to the staff for their prompt communication regarding our check-in details. Their professionalism and efficiency were commendable.
Overall, while there were a few aspects that could be improved, the hotel's location and cleanliness made it a satisfactory experience. I would recommend it for those looking to explore the area, with the hope that noise issues may be addressed...
Read moreAbsolutely awful. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. From the start of our stay, the place was dirty, unkempt, and not as described. Our room smelled strongly of old cigarettes and urine. We booked a Mountain View room and our view was of a giant tree completely blocking any mountain view, if you looked through the branches and squinted you could maybe catch a tiny glimpse of the mountain. There were old bottle caps on the floor in our room. The beds were extremely old and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. The staff was non existent and very rude when we were able to finally contact them. The shower had a clogged drain which lead to the tub completely filling up with water each time we showered. The shower curtain had a strong odor of mold. The lightening around the hotel was broken and flickering, so if you are walking in the dark down the stairs you cannot see anything. They also have odd threatening notices throughout the hotel room stating things like if you are going to stain their linens then use dirty linens in the closet. Also, there is no continental breakfast as described. Sedona is such a beautiful place, don’t waste your time or money...
