Love this place! I live in Phoenix, and the drive here is lovely. Climbing the rocks are so fun because you can climb up any which way you choose, as there is no one direct path to the top.
You can go one of the more challenging ways, or just stick to any one of the less steep paths.
The rocks are slick where there is loose dirt, so make sure you have good hiking shoes on. I also wouldn't recommend wearing shorts because you more than likely will be using your knees and your butt at one point or another, probably more so on the way down than up.
I've been at times where it has taken me up to 4 hours to climb to the top, and other times I've gone and it has only taken around 2 hours up and down.
I like it because it's the same rocks but a different climb each trip.

Stopped by Bell Rock with my cousins after exploring Flagstaff and Walnut Canyon, and it was the perfect way to end the day. The energy there is something else. I actually took a moment to meditate, and it felt grounding and peaceful in a way I can’t quite explain. The views are stunning from every angle, especially as the sun starts to dip.
