I walked out of their store today after buying some paint and other items. I paid for my things at the paint counter. There were 2 customers in the place me being one and at least 4 employees that saw when I was there. I was followed into the parking lot by the younger employee and accused of stealing my items several times. Now again 2 people in the whole store. He said his manager said I didn’t pay. I told him that’s his problem knowing my receipt was in my pocket but my hands were full. After putting my things in my car I go back in the store and asked are we done? He says yeah I made a mistake. But he didn’t have the courtesy of coming back to the parking lot where he chased me, nor did he offer an apology. Great job superstar. Best hardware store ever! For 17 years my local ACE has been happy to give me all the help I need whether it’s something big or just matching a little 5 cent bolt. You rarely have to wait for help either. It amazes me how a small store can have everything I need, even some small wood mouldings. They also carry the unusual sized heat/AC filters I need, whereas you-know-who doesn’t. That goes for my favorite lightbulbs too. Their extensive familiarity with projects and tools have made many of my jobs easier, faster and better, including my latest house painting. Where else can you find friendly, knowledgeable, efficient people who can actually make a hardware store fun and save you loads of time and aggravation!? We bought a wind spinner last year when we were in Sedona. We saw their display out in the street and we were sold. My heart sank when we returned this year and didn’t see the display, but we’re so happy when we stopped anyways and they had them in the back now. This store has so much more then you think. I took pics of the things you may not think you would find in a hardware store. The customer service is out of this world awesome. Sooooo friendly.
