We booked Red Agave Resort for our wedding weekend. Having 35 guests, we were able to rent out the entire resort for the duration of our stay, which was perfect.
Accommodations: The property is absolutely lovely. We loved the vintage charm of the chalets with the beautiful courtyard and STUNNING views. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice amenities. The pool, fire pit and hot tubs were an added bonus for sure! We were able to grill together, eat and drink in the courtyard and all be collectively together easily. Every morning the property looked freshly maintained, even with our group festivities.
Wedding Venue: We worked with the manager, Trish, on logistics for wedding day preparation and she was wonderful and super easy to work with. She was even more lovely in person and was so welcoming and kind. Truly, all the staff that we encountered was great.
We loved having the flexibility to choose any wedding vendor we wanted and felt that was a huge advantage for our special day. Naturally, our wedding was outdoors and the weather was perfect. I don't believe you can find a better backdrop for a wedding in Sedona. Everywhere you look is simply breath taking. It was so nice to have our first looks and photography just steps away off of the trailhead, we never had to leave the property for our wedding and appreciated having the extra time to engage with our guests.
Working with our wedding planner, Kelsey at Jane in the Woods, we were able to transform the courtyard into a bohemian desert dream. Red Agave was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend and wedding event location. If you're looking for an intimate resort with killer views and vintage charm, I can't recommend it enough. We look forward to returning for our one year...
Read moreWe just had our wedding at Red Agave this past Memorial Day weekend. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this venue is. The views are spectacular, of course, but that wasn't the main winning factor for us.
Being able to have most of our guests staying onsite made for a memorable weekend for everyone. We had the whole resort to ourselves, so our guests were able to mingle in the courtyard with family and friends on both our wedding night and the night before. It made for such great social time as we brought so many different groups together.
The day of the wedding couldn't have gone smoother. I was a bit worried that as we were tied up with typical bridal party preparations, our vendors might arrive without any help getting set up and finding their supplies. I shouldn't have been worried at all. Chelsea, Stephanie, and team were everywhere at once: greeting vendors, setting up the space, and just generally taking care of any issues before I even knew about them. They made our wedding day low-stress and high-excitement. We couldn't have done it without all of their help.
A special note of thanks: one of our guests has a disability that affects his mobility. When it came time for his table to go get dinner from the buffet, event staff were immediately and discreetly at his side asking if they could go get a plate of food for him. They were so inconspicuous about the process that I didn't even know about it until our friend told us afterwards. It was this type of touching attentiveness that made working with Red Agave so fantastic.
Bottom line: If you want a wedding that will be unforgettable, I can't recommend Red Agave...
Read moreMy husband and I knew we wanted to get married in Sedona and after a trip out to the area to check out wedding venues we still had not found what we were looking for. We heard about Red Agave, so we made a trip up there to check out the resort. We put our deposit down that day! We cannot rave about this place enough; it is such a gem! We absolutely love the stunning views and the peaceful setting. Plus, they allow pups, which was an absolute essential for us! We were so excited to be able to have all of our friends and family stay at the resort with us at an affordable rate and spend our evenings gathered around the fire pit making s’mores. The amenities within the chalets and studios are amazing and come with everything you need to grill on the BBQ or cook your meals on the stovetop. The staff is always so kind, and Trish was super responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process, which was especially helpful after COVID hit. We weren’t able to have our wedding celebration, but my husband and I did travel to the resort to elope. Trish helped us find the perfect elopement site off of their private hiking and biking trail entrance and was available for any concerns that we had. We hope to be able to return to Red Agave with our family and friends to celebrate as...
