Pioneer Memorial Park — Attraction in Sequim

this place is like none other. My parents used to hang out here when they were teenagers, now I'm an adult and most of my good memories were made at this park all the way from infancy through my preteen and teen years all the way to now. I used to hang out here with friends, my first boyfriend , my first kiss. There's an energy about this place, I come here to meditate and think when life is just too much. I have baby pictures of me under the trees here in the cherry blossoms. There was a big tree, it was the tree I would meet up with all my friends the tree I would have picnics under and unfortunately it got taken down a few years ago I still hold on to some Moss I took from it in a bottle. I hope this park never goes away it would take away...

If you play pokemon go there are 3 or 4 pokestops here and its a nice place to have a picnic with your kids if there isnt too much loud traffick going by. Theres a nice little fountain and pond right by the road. A nice area where you can sit on the ground and relax with the kiddos or your puppy, while on the leash.
