Since moving to Sequim I've put my money into local businesses. I was spending thousands a year at The Co-op, but no longer!
I picked up the fencing panels this week that I had ordered, but after unloading at home had found one of the panels had manufacturer's damage. I brought the panel back after talking to customer service to get an exchange, but they didn't have the same panel, even though I was assured they did. What they did have was one and only one of the next grade of panel with an extra support bar.
Instead of making the exchange for good will because I was spending thousands a year I was charged the difference. Never mind I already had nearly $1000 into the fencing I was charged the extra fee of $30 for the panel. I was told that I could wait for another panel, but they had no idea when those would come in.
So according to the manager I'm supposed to wait or pay because they sold me a defective panel, and didn't have an adequate supply to make an exchange?
The Co-op isn't the only farm store in the area, so I'll take my thousands elsewhere and leave this review as a reminder that a short sighted business isn't long for...
Read moreBIPOC FOLKS BEWARE!!!! Came in with my friend. Both her and I are BIPOC. We were a party of 4 adults and 6 kids. The cashier (let's call her karen) Karen made a rude comment "look at that train, keep them coming". Then at one point my partner notices that a man working at the store was following us to which when he got so close to running into my partner, he finally had to ask my partner "can I help you find something". My partner then responds... "if you're planning to follow us then maybe grab a bag" The store employee then says "I guess we are just aggressive customer service". Seriously do not shop at this store. Especially if you identify as a BIPOC person or have someone in your group that is. If you choose to, then be prepared to hear rude comments and be followed. READ A COMMENT FROM 4 MONTHS AGO, SAME SCENARIO!!!! we didn't see the review prior,...
Read moreThis is only a review of the propane services. They only fill the tanks 80% which is not told to you before the partial filling. Two, 7 gallon tanks filled only 11 gallons worth from the 14 total. That is 3 days of heat & refrigeration for me, so it is a significant difference to my life. After lugging these heavy tanks back into my car, I had to go waste time to drive down the road to Coastals, and get the heavy tanks out again where they finished filling the tanks. The price was also significantly less at Coastals on this day, 3.09 at Coop and 2.70...
