Went in an seen him on January the 10th. Was told that I was going to need surgery. I haven't received any phone calls from the office staff. When I called Monday of this week I was told that I would be scheduled in for Friday February the 7th. And that I would get a phone call back that day or on Tuesday cause the Dr. was in surgery. So yesterday I called them at 2 cause I still hadn't heard from no one. I was then told that I was put down for the 31st of this month and I said no I am to have my surgery on the 7th of February. The lady that answered the phone stated to me that she didn't talk to me cause she was not in the office on Monday. But she never asked me my name or anything. I still haven't gotten a phone call from the hospital letting me know what this procedure is going to cost me. I am not happy with the office staff here. I had to call them cause it was 2 weeks after my first appointment that I still hadn't gotten a phone call to schedule my surgery. Cause my information was never passed along to the other person that takes care of this. I will be on the phone with them first thing this morning. About what time I need to be at the hospital. Well, to put it simply, Dr. Umoh is a genius that is not only brilliant at what he does but actually cares about his patients. When your in his care you are in his care. I just got through the most painful after surgery you can have (hemorrhoidectomy) and yet thanks to the meds Dr Umoh prescribed and the actual precision of his technique I feel better than 95% of the people that have it. As I begin to mend I feel that now I can have my old life back without the hellish pain and massive blood loss I had to deal with on a constant basis. The best decision I ever made was walking into Dr Umoh's place of business and putting my trust in his hands. Going to visit a specialist is already an anxious time, but going during a pandemic can be even more scary. I was immediately put at ease as soon as I walked into the office. The receptionist was spectacular about easing my worries and they took great precautions with disinfecting the waiting area periodically and following social distancing measures. After a much needed visit that I put off for years, I was ecstatic to have Dr. Umoh perform my outpatient surgical procedure.
