Interior: I loved that the place was bright and cheery. Lots of pastel colors. Spacious dining area with a good amount of seating. I love that they have booths as well as chairs. They also have a bar type table with stools. I would have liked if there were napkin dispensers at the table, but they did have napkins at the register. Everything was very clean and tidy. There is a display case up at the front where you can see the different selections. I like this because sometimes I have a hard time determining the size of stuff based on a picture. There were samples to the left of the cashier. I think, because they just opened, that they should offer samples to the customers before they order. I do think giving out samples is great though. The menu was clear and easy to read.
Food: The mochi donuts that we tried were amazing! I'm not a big donut person, but these were really good. I loved that some of them had little decorations on them. I also love the colors of the food. I tried Pandan, Matcha, Churro, Milk Choco, Coffee, and Mango. All of them were really, really good. My favorite was Coffee. I also tried their Taro milk tea with boba and Matcha with boba. Both were great. Lastly, I ordered a custard cream puff to go. Very delicious. The bread almost dissolves in your mouth. Very flaky. The cream inside wasn't overly sweet and had a nice texture.
Service & Price: All of the employees were very nice. I didn't know what Pandan was and the cashier was nice and patient enough to explain. Everyone was very friendly. I felt the price is justified with presentation and flavor. Definitely cute for parties, baby showers, kids birthdays, sleepovers, school meetings, anime clubs, and of course casual outings.
I will definitely go back to try the other flavors and see what the volcano cream puff is. I think the location is good and there was...
Read moreAbsolutely the most DIVINE cream puffs. 😍 I was worried because we stopped by last hour til closing & sometimes you just never know with pastries sitting out in a case... but these cream puffs were so good!! We got one of every flavor but coffee (it was sold out, so is it the best??). They're big puffs, so it was easily split 4 ways, meaning everyone got to try some. The blueberry and strawberry tasted fresh, and the cream was a good clean cream - whether it's fresh or not, I don't know, but it tasted like it! The puff pastry itself was very light and almost melted in the mouth. The chocolate & matcha... These will definitely be a hit if I bring a box to the ladies in the office.
The establishment itself was clean and the staff were very friendly. The gentleman and lady behind the counter were quick to chat and help offer recommendations. Everything looked so good! 🤤 I got a lemon yogurt fizzy to drink - very sweet and tart, almost like a lemoncello. It was not a true yogurt based drink, I was thinking it'd be something like a lassi, but it wasn't. It would smack at a pool party, though; it'd be a good summer drink.
I'll have to come again to see if it's consistently this amazing. 😂
Edit: The coffee cream puff is, in fact, the best. The berry tea sparkle is suuuper sweet and delicious with minced green apple in it - mixing this with a sparkling water, champagne, or Moscato...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. I generally do not like donuts but this is the perfect level of sweetness for me. I highly recommend the pandan, ube and mango mochi donuts. The strawberry croffle is also delicious. I was not a big fan of the pistachio croon but the ube one was delicious. The filling on the pistachio was a little too artificial pistachio for me. Fill those croons up with that ricotta cream from the croffle!! Add chopped pistachios and it would be absolutely heavenly. I look forward to seeing what other flavors they come out with. I really want to try the honeydew and Rose flavor. I also highly recommend you guys make a sticky rice type glaze for the donut. Top with some rose petals or pistachios! It would be sooo good. Either way you have a loyal...
