NEVER going to Endless summer again. Here’s my experience:
We went to get ice cream. They advertise crunch coat they never have it anymore. I specifically went there to get crunch coat but every time they don’t have it. I have finally learned my lesson. The male owner came to help the other worker there. There was also the female owner just standing there. Not a friendly atmosphere. I asked for 2 small cones with rainbow sprinkles. The cones were very small and not very well made (I worked at an ice cream place for 10 years) and the first cone barely had any sprinkles on it. Before I paid I asked if we could actually have a side of extra sprinkles. The owner said no we have to put it on something. And I said you can't put it in a cup? (I would do this all the time for customers - it is a pretty common request) And he said well they're kind of big. And I said even if I'm paying for it? And he said no we don't really do that. And he was pretty rude about it. Also the two small, poorly made cones that barely had any sprinkles on it was $10.
Quite frankly I was appalled that the OWNER would say no to a simple request that is obviously easy to fulfill. I know the owner at Woodies would NEVER say no to a customer request. I only went to Endless Summer because I really wanted crunch coat, which they ended up not having. I really regret going there. If you are in the area I suggest to go to Woodies. 100% better service and atmosphere, better prices, and...
Read moreInteresting place this is. I used to go to, and hang out here all the time when I was a teenager, way back when it was known as "My Dad's" in the late 90's. I even still have a menu from the last year it was that also! This was when it was a half arcade (with actual video-games unlike now), and eatery, with very good, cheap food, which Our Endless Summer also initially was when it first took over. Now it's basically become a small, poor man's Fantasy Island clone like most other arcades you'll see these days, with ice cream being it's only food source, while the building is now virtually an entire play area. That maybe wouldn't be so bad if it didn't consist of not much more of both than your typical crane machines, and lame ticket spewing games for kids that almost all other arcades appear to pretty much only have, with virtually no actual video-games left, unfortunately. Granted they may be what might consistently continue to make money in such places these days now, but still. At least you also have a good food option across the street with Woodies, along with other restaurants and what not fairly close by. Overall it's still worth checking out at least once in a while here and there for the most part. That despite even if it's nowhere near the once amazing business it used to be before the new ownership took over, and like most other places when that happened, sadly didn't exactly change for the better in...
Read moreArcade is solid. They upgraded to a key card system and have solid games and technology. Place where games are is generally clean.
Prize options mediocre but what can you expect at an arcade (way better than Chuck E. Cheese!)
Would be 3-4 stars as I’ve been there 6-7 times in the past 2 years...
HOWEVER - my 4 year old had to use the bathroom today and I took him in there.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING... as in it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in 2 plus months
Dear owner - You’re taking in money at a fast clip (I spent 90 bucks in 20 minutes with 3 kids tonight). Spend a few thousand dollars to renovate what looks like a 3rd world country bathroom and pay to keep it clean.
My reference is to the Mens...
