This place seemed popular so I figured I’d go on a Monday morning. First of all, I was so confused because I guess there was too many people inside that they had everyone cluster outside until they felt like allowing you inside. It was my first time there and I tried opening the door and another customer yelled at me telling me to get in the back of the line waiting. Sorry, I had no idea.
My friend and I finally get inside and everyone was like racing and running around. I honestly didn’t know where to look first or how the process worked. We ordered paninis from the deli and wanted a coffee as well. There were a lot of good options on the menu. There were a lot of stuck-up customers in there; although, there was 1 nice woman who pointed us in the right direction. We finally get on line and order our coffees and pay for the sandwiches. One thing we noticed while waiting on line is that a lot of the baked stuff on the shelves don’t have prices on it. I guess it’s a mystery. When we paid, we didn’t even receive a receipt to know what we even paid for lol
It is very nicely set-up outside with tables to sit and eat. However, it was so packed that people were reserving multiple tables for themselves unfortunately. As we were waiting for our coffees, a woman goes up to my coffee on the ledge and starts poking at the Cinnabon with her fingers. Meanwhile, it wasn’t even hers. The woman behind the counter was nice enough to replace the Cinnabon. I would love to come back and try so many other things. Everything tasted so good. I just wish there was a little more organization in there though. Customers were pushing each other because of how crowded it was and they felt entitled. It was overwhelming and hectic, but really good nonetheless.
(After reading a dozen reviews, it seems the common denominator complaints are the poor organization, surprise prices with no receipts, no price tags on items, confusing process, and...

I come to you a new man, for I have ventured to the mountain top and have seen hope. Hope for a better tomorrow that includes the everything stuffed croissant from the Local!
After Emily and her team of culinary maestros had been working in the mad science lab on this recipe, they have decided to grace us all with their new found addiction inducing breakfast concoction.
The everything stuffed croissant was so perfectly crisp, light, fluffy, and then when you get to the cream cheese filling…oh lawd! It wasn’t like regular cream cheese that I thought sit in my stomach like a giant ball of pasteurized dairy that makes me bloated, cancel plans, and put on my stretchy pants for the rest of the day. The consistency was more like whipped cream…so light and tasty…it was a shocking surprise!
I bought 2 of these baked provisions in hopes that I would eat one today and save the other for tomorrow…rest assured, neither of these croissants ever made it to my zip code let alone my house.
Emily, Brooke, Vic, and Mags…thank you. Thank you for sharing in this experience that required multiple trips from me and tolerance from you watching a grown man press his face up against the showcase glass looking for this scrumptious chow.
The day looks brighter now and it gives me hope to strive forward to a better tomorrow never knowing what mind altering substances Emily and her team with come up with next!

Read moreConcept is very cool but execution is horrendous. Wait on line for 30 minutes no matter what you are getting (bakery items, coffee, marketplace). Line is some wacky way winding through the store and out the door. Customers can’t figure out the line so they have employees trying to manage it. . Get to the counter and ask about a drink because they don’t have any menus laying around, not all of their menu is online and their menu that is on the wall doesn’t tell most of what they actually have. Get up to the register and the girl doesn’t know if they have what you asked for (apparently no one knows what they have here because again no full menus anywhere) so she has to leave the register and ask the other register. She then has to walk over a second time to check to see if you can sub almond milk. Ordered a London Fog tea latte with milk and ended up getting a plain, horrible tasting tea with a drop of almond milk. Never asked if our order was to stay or go so you are handed overflowing drinks with dripping whipped cream to take home with no top that will fit over the drink. Also, while ordering the employees were fighting with each other….super unprofessional. My family ordered coffees and said they were good but we all agreed way too many other coffee places on the island who know how to actually handle a crowded summer business to waste your time...
