A very unpleasant experience right from the start. Upon entering, i greeted the woman working the front desk (when she was available to chat) and really got a negative vibe right from there. I was inquiry about purchasing a bike through their shop and was looking for help in determining the right frame size, style, etc. I asked specifically about a "Giant" brand bike and the woman cut me off and immediately told me that Asia is shut down (pandemic) and NO ONE can get a bike. Thinking this was limited to just one manufacturer, i asked if there were other manufacturers that may have inventory. The woman rudely and condescending went on a rant about how Asia is shut down, she cant help me, they aren't even renting bikes, and so on. If her goal was to make a future customer who was looking to buy 2 bikes from their store take their business elsewhere, she certainly achieved that solely based on her customer service. Not many places rate a solid 5 stars but Walters Bikes, Inc. clearly does. I came into the shop based on the existing reviews and was not disappointed. Many stores are low on inventory these days but Tom and Pat Walters did not try to sell me something I could not enjoy. I wound up with a PEDEGO City Commuter in 28 inch that seemed a good fit for my 6' 240 lbs. I have good west coast mountain bike experience and am a recent Harley Street Bob owner, the ebike has the fun of both but does take a transition period for the new owner. I bought it off the floor and when it had a minor adjustment need Tom drove to the house and took the bike to his shop. Pat helped me from start to finish, absolutely professional and beyond knowledgeable with what they have in stock from bikes to accessories. Pat and Tom really Helped me find the perfect bike with accessories ! I have Had an electric bike for about 2 years now and wanted something more comfortable, not those cheap Chinese ones. I needed up woth the pedago and satchel bag trio and cellphone holder. I’m Beyond happy with it!
