An amazing park for anyone. Potter park has partly shaded tennis and basketball courts, as well as numerous paved and in paved trails. They are great hikes and there is quite a bit of wildlife. The YMCA is next door, but the climbing area has been removed. A large field is open to the public behind the water park as well. You can also reach the Legacy Trail by walking along Central Sarasota Pkwy east to the Stonybrook Nature Trail. Definitely pay a visit to...

Paradise Park! The trails are really nice. Not too short, long enough to get a good walk if you do two or three laps. The pool seems very lively, and is used for local events. Nice bathrooms and what looks like a pretty good toddler and child play area. Basketball courts, tennis courts looked really nice and plenty of room for a lot of people. One large gazebo which had a party going on, so I guess you can rent that....

Been playing tennis and basketball here for years but the city could make it better. Need regulations of the pros in town teaching lessons on the tennis court for extra cash, this isn’t allowed and annoying if you are a trying to play. Basketball courts need some TLC, nets are always damaged and rims are bad. Beautiful park and playground, walking trails etc. Homeless problem has gotten better but...
