Pizzeria Della Nonna — Restaurant in Florida

Been to this place over the years, and things were usually ok in terms of the food. But recently, I picked up some pizza and after eating had very bad stomach pain for 4 days; it literally woke me up in the morning. It wasn't minor. It was enough for me to call the owner and basically tell him I had a bad experience. I didn't plan on writing a review at all actually, and wanted to be direct that I was dissatisfied. So I figured I'd call.

The guy couldn't even talk for one second and was so defensive he hung up on me twice. My point wasn't to pick a fight, it was to say as a customer that I had an issue with the latest pizza order. The guy was/is so rude though all he could do was run away from the conversation and blame me for "trying something." Pathetic experience and a joke of a business owner. Better pizza and customer...

Not sure who it was but guy who answered had an attitude when I asked if they had a white sauce based pizza and when we presumed to say okay he hung up on us. I thought it was a mistake until I called back and stated wasn't sure why we got disconnected and he said because he tried explaining and we didn't understand ? So he intentionally hung up also explained that we wanted other menu items we were going to get if they didn't have the white pizza and he cut me off and said can I help you or not at that point I was like you know what we're good. We have been enjoying the food at Della Nonna's for a few years now and have always been impressed with the fresh quality, portions and variety of options. The new menu now has plant based, gluten free, vegan cheese options! We are ecstatic. They also offer delivery and we could not be more excited to keep enjoying their delicious options. Today we had the meatball pasta and a custom gluten free crust pizza with vegan cheese and multiple toppings. Everything tasted perfect, well cooked and fresh ingredients.
