This has become my new go-to/favorite Thai restaurant in the county! My sister and I tried them for the first time at the beginning of this month and had to come again before the month ended. Both times we’ve gone there were no wait times—we were seated as soon as we walked in. The ambiance is great. The booths are separated by dividers and the seats are very comfortable. The servers are super nice and attentive. They have a call button so there’s no need to physically flag them down when needed. Here are the things we’ve tried: - Garlic soft shell crab — SOO GOOD!!! super crunchy and the plum sauce is amazing. Great serving size for sharing. - Jumbo prawns with panang curry — it was good but nothing too special about it. - Thai fried rice — very good but half of the serving is literally the ingredients so there wasn’t as much rice as I would’ve liked. - Tom Kha — AMAZING. If I ever need my Tom Kha fix, this will be the place I’ll be going. The small size is good for 2 people. - Crab rangoons — flavorful, one of the best I’ve tried in the area. - Mango sticky rice — so yummy! if you’re getting a dessert, I highly recommend trying this out. - Thai iced tea — gooood stuff. Cannot go wrong with this one. Overall I love this place! Easily has become my go-to for my Thai food fix. Will definitely be coming back!

Larger menu than Bahn Thai, the previous restaurant. Took my father there after a trip to Shelton. Had the Vegetable Tempura for appetizer. Four veggies in a fry basket and flavorful dipping sauce. Very tasty!! Dad had the Volcano Beef dish and I had Green Curry Pork. Noticed both entrees came zero stars by default. Was not asked spice level so if spice is your life, be proactive and say something. Heard another couple ordering and they mentioned their preferred spice level plus menu mentioned what the levels were. Volcano Beef arrived on a sizzling platter. Both entrees were very good. Coconut ice cream at the end. Sized for two servings. Highly recommend!!

This place has a new name and the outside looks brighter and cleaner but the inside is the same. The food is comparable to the old place a Jan Thai. I would give the pumpkin curry a 4-atar rating and my wife raised the pad Thai as a 3-star. The pumpkin curry was huge and had lots of veggies. The chicken was little tough but still good, just not ample amount of chicken or rice, hence the 4-star rating. The pad Thai was mostly noodles and bean sprouts. The tofu was tough on the outside and spongy on the inside. It tasted like it was been sitting in a container for a while and wasn’t fresh. It would be nice if there were more veggies in the pad Thai.

Wanted to try this place since Bahn Thai sucked and was ant infested and I was hoping they'd be good! Large menu, lots of options and I like the booths. Unfortunately the ants were replaced with poor service and subpar food. We got here when it didn't seem to busy, and I like the call button feature from the table as we had time to make our decisions without feeling rushed. We placed our order and waited... and waited... and waited... it took about 30 minutes for the appetizer to come out, and it was cold. Taste wasn't bad, but would've been much better if it was hot. We got out entrees after about 45 minutes, and the servings for the items we got were very small I felt for the price we paid. My entree was good, but the mushrooms tasted very bad. Partners plate seemed like everything in it was frozen, and they like to use the same sweet sauce for entrees and appetizers, no change in flavor. Also was not hot. They forgot two things when they brought our food, and one was quickly brought over, very watered down as we believe it had time to sit there and melt before getting to us. The other thing that was missing we never got, even though we kindly reminded them of it, but they sure charged us for it! Didn't forget that part. So so disappointing. There only seems to be about 2 servers in this entire building, and it did fill up a bit about 30 minutes into our meal, but I feel the call button is mainly there for display purposes as when we pushed it, nobody came! We had to push the call button 5+ times to even get the bill, and even longer to have them fix the bill for the item we never received. This place is new, so I'll give it that, but dear lord this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, and I've had some dining experiences. I hope they work the kinks out but we will 99% chance never give it another shot. I believe one of the owners is the one who sat us and she seemed very kind, so I hope this review...

Absolutely blown away by Ginn I’m Thai! This place is a gem — hands down one of the best Thai restaurants we’ve ever been to.

From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone. It’s warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed — modern but still full of character, making you feel instantly at ease and ready for something special.

The service? Flawless. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly fast. We were greeted with smiles and had our food in front of us in what felt like no time, without ever feeling rushed. The staff clearly care about the experience and it shows.

And now, the star of the show: the food. Every single dish we’ve tried has been phenomenal. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced — not too sweet, not too sour, just the right amount of heat and umami. The Cashew Chicken was vibrant, crunchy, and full of depth. The Massaman Curry? Rich, velvety, and deeply comforting — like it came straight from a Thai grandmother’s kitchen. And the Khao Soi — WOW. Creamy, spicy, aromatic, with crispy noodles on top for that perfect texture contrast. Absolute 10/10 across the board.

Everything tastes authentic, fresh, and clearly made with love and skill. You can tell they’re not cutting corners — this is the real deal.

If you’re craving Thai food that actually tastes like it came straight from Thailand, Ginn I’m Thai is a must. We’ll be back...
