I decided to attend the "Silco history" presentation for various reasons - one being to reconnect with the feel of theatre, which I have sorely missed and because I am fortunate to have made the acquaintances of Josh, Nina and Kelly in other professional venues and I wanted to see in their "native" habitat! They were fantastic!
I had no idea what to expect from the performance since the descriptions were vague . I must say I was delighted and entertained thoroughly throughout the evening. Chris has a magical way of sharing his talents and interests through the nuances of his life. It is endearing, heartfelt and relaxing. It was a reminder of how important theatre is for personal expression, especially when it is done in a way that is educational, with an emotional component that creates memories that are useful in life. This evening honored diversity, equity and and inclusiveness without ever mentioning it. Just by being entertaining it helped to create an awareness of our humanity and the importance of love, happiness and kindness above all. Thank you!...
Read moreThe Silco Theatre was an enjoyable experience all around. Every aspect of the process was easy, the employees were super knowledgeable and helpful, there is no bad seating, the production was fantastic. A very intimate and interactive experience for Georgia Mc Bride; not a bad seat in the house. One thing that was really awesome, the bar offered you to prepurchase your drink for the intermission and they have it ready for you when you walk out. I thought that was very smart and convenient. My husband took advantage of that. No lines no waiting. They had themed beverages to the event too which was really fun. We took advantage of locals night which offers 50% discount on theatre tix for county residences along with a 20% discount on a local restaurant setting you up for a nice date nite!...

Last night's performance of Mamma Mia was exceptional-- wonderful live music, beautiful singing, more than a little kitsch, & fabulous costumes and choreography! The revolving stage is a fun touch. Honestly, I enjoyed their version more than I did watching an off-Broadway performance of the same show in NYC. Their creativity and heart made my evening! Summing up: take a chance on LDTC-- we have rarely been...
