Vacasa — Hotel in Silverthorne

Great home , needs attention. This is a beautiful spacious log home with an incredible view, just perfect for larger families. Each bedroom had a king size bed and en suite bathroom., plus a generous bunk room. There was an enormous dining table and large living room with stone fireplace that opened to an outdoor deck with phenomenal views. The lower level had a big game room that opened to a lower deck with hot tub. The room really could’ve used a larger area, rug or two or three as when the kids were playing it was so noisy and felt very cold on a winter night coming in from the hot tub. The entry to the garage is very very tight, especially with lots of built-up snow, but it was nice to have the garage. Our only complaints were with the management company because they obviously ignored a number of items that were needed including very clogged garbage disposal that stunk to high heaven, a number of lightbulbs that were out, toilet that didn’t flush, carbon monoxide alarms that had the batteries beeping. Some dirty or stained linens and not nearly enough towels and pillowcases. Stinky trash in the garage upon arrival. We had to call for more dishwashing soap and trash bags. There were no other supplies like aluminum foil or saran wrap so plan on bringing everything or running to the store a lot. There was a nicely stocked spice cabinet. The pluses of the actual house outweigh the annoyances of the management's companies handling. When i asked for a 2 hour extension til noon to check out vacasa said it was unfortunate that i had so many issues, but they would charge me extra for the two hours. Bad management of issues and client. Someone needs to come through and take care of all the details to get this house right including toilet paper holders! We rent luxury properties all the time and have never encountered this many annoying problems...

We stayed Thanksgiving week in this clean and cozy property. The view of the lake is perfect from the balcony, although, it snowed 17 inches on the night of our arrival. This did not stop us from venturing out and walking along the paths that are just outside the property!

There are full size front loading washer and dryer with clothes soap also available.

The location of this property is across the street from a grocery store, restaurants and movie theatre. Along with gas stations and many other shopping and other shops very close. This location is fabulous!

This property is immaculate and very clean...Even to a particularly picky person like myself. I felt comfortable in the furnishings. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, soap and other necessities. Note: there is a full size coffee maker but no pod-type coffee maker.

The parking is covered and assigned. There are a few steps down, directly in front of the parking spot that lead to the elevator. This is extremely convenient to bring luggage to the unit.

One last very important plus point to this property is how QUIET it was. We never heard neighbors or loud music or noises. For being a condo type property, that was a pleasant surprise!

Do not hesitate to rent this property! We will be back.

Clean, cozy, convenient We (2 people) went to Dillon to see a show at the Dillon amphitheater and wanted a place that was within walking distance. La bonte was absolutely the right choice! Just a quick 10-minute walk to the amphitheater and conveniently close to downtown dillion and easy access to hwy 6 to Silverthorne. The place was lovely, roomy, and clean. The kitchen was superbly appointed with all the kitchen items you could think of for baking/cooking and for making heated beverages (coffee/tea). The balcony is nice and angled in a way that you cannot see the neighboring balcony (although you can hear them) and offers a distant but lovely view of the lake. Bed was comfy (we only used the bed in the room with the attached bath) with options for pillows and blankets. House furniture was comfy and roomy. Good lighting and lots of extra hooks where you need them. Being able to park in a garage space was great but the spaces are a little tight to maneuver in/out of. We drive a Kia Sportage which made it easier. There is an elevator that you can use to take you to floor 1 if you go (if memory serves me correctly) all the way into the garage, turn right, go down the stairs, then turn left and left again.
