The room was challenging. However, it’s hard to complete a room when the logistics aren’t on your side. There was a key hidden in a dark hole that we missed due to my husband sticking his hand in said hole, and getting cut by a sharp piece of plastic sticking out. It actually broke skin. Staff was made aware, didn’t ask if he was okay or offered a bandaid, just said “oh sorry about that”. When asking for clues, every time the employee would talk, the Walkie talkie would beep out. After having her repeat herself numerous times, and nothing being done to fix the issue, I left the room to get the clue in person. Employee offered another Walkie talkie that was just as bad. We asked for a clue and employee kept repeating where to find the code for a lock we had already opened.. which was extremely frustrating when time is running out. Not to mention, you’re on camera so the employee should have seen us open that lock already or seen that it was already open. We were on the last puzzle to get out when our time ran out. Which was extremely frustrating because had it not been for all the logistic issues, we would have been put in ample time. We have done lots of escape rooms in other cities, and this one was $7 more a person and had the most issues. The puzzles were good and challenging but the rest really ruined...

I had called on Saturday to ask if this was going to be open on President’s Day (yesterday), was told they were, made a reservation and tried to call 45 minutes before we were supposed to be there (and then again at a half hour before) to inform them we would be within five minutes of our reservation time, but no answer. Normally, I wouldn’t be upset about something like this, because I’m pretty understanding that things happen. What I was upset about was that I drove an hour, one way, in terrible road conditions, for the sole purpose of going here, and it was my boyfriend’s birthday. He’s been wanting to go since the day we found out what this was all about. Just pretty upset with the customer service, not sure that we’ll give the new place a try...
