I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton, located off Highway 29 on Gordon Drive and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the beautiful lobby, which has a very elegant, modern look. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making check-in and my entire stay smooth and enjoyable. Don’t forget to grab a warm cookie. I stayed in a king suite which included a microwave, mini fridge and hair dryer! There are rooms accommodate everyone’s needs; single bed, handicap accessible, king beds, and studio rooms! One highlight was the breakfast every morning, with a variety of things to choose. Oh the amenities! The hotel offers a heated indoor pool, perfect for relaxing or having a family fun day! They also offer a state- of-the-art fitness facility. A great bonus is they are connected to the new 1854 Grille that recently just opened! Overall this DoubleTree by Hilton is a wonderful place to stay. With its modern design, excellent service, and great amenities, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sioux City area! I had to do a round trip drive from North Carolina to South Dakota and back. After 25 hours of straight driving I need a rest so I stopped here. Turns out it's only been open for one week. Of course the place is spotless being new. The decor is nice, slightly contemporary but with some elegance. Alexis, the young lady who checked me in, was extremely kind and friendly. The room was a good size and prepared as I would expect as a diamond member. This location does an excellent job of representing the brand Five stars all day One note: the elevator is in an odd location around the back of the building. To get there from the lobby, take the hallway until it dead ends. Then go through the door. There you will find the elevator.

Fantastic hotel! Super clean, very nice details. We loved our stay. Great location to downtown. Friendly service. Restaurant with bar attached. We liked that the hallway drinking fountains had filtered water options for your personal water bottle. Really comfortable beds. Appreciate the USB ports on the nightstand. We're told this hotel was built in 2025- it's new and fresh! Breakfast area $13.95 per person. We didn’t eat here so can’t review quality.

My family had an excellent experience at the DoubleTree in Sioux City. We were traveling for a funeral, and Carrie helped us immensely in getting a room block set up at the last minute. Carrie also made it possible for us to have a small event with coffee and doughnuts so family could gather and socialize at the hotel. I felt the event pricing was reasonable, we received attentive service from the events team, and our group enjoyed generous perks for booking within the block.

This is a very new hotel in the area with wonderful amenities and a convenient location. The DoubleTree offers free on-site parking for guests and there are many nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Our group dined at the on-site restaurant and made use of both the pool and the fitness room. There is usually a fee for the hotel breakfast, but our breakfasts were comped as part of the room block agreement. That being said, the standard fee for breakfast was less than $15, and the quality was excellent. If we stayed here again without complimentary breakfast, we would still pay to eat breakfast at the hotel.

The only issue we had during our stay was front desk staffing. It was sometimes difficult to find someone to assist, and there was no bell at the desk. The hotel also did not offer an express checkout option. With the staffing issues, I had to wait a while to check out! This was really the only problem we experienced. Overall, I would recommend...

During our recent stay at Double Tree, we had an unfortunate experience involving a staff member whose behavior was both unprofessional and concerning.

We were utilizing the 24-hour gym facility, as clearly advertised by the hotel, and we ensured that there was appropriate adult supervision present at all times. Despite this, we were confronted by an employee who addressed us in a rude and aggressive manner, questioning our presence in the gym and treating us as though we were violating hotel policy.

Rather than calmly seeking clarification or offering assistance, the employee’s tone was accusatory and dismissive. Not only did this create an uncomfortable and unnecessarily hostile environment, but it also reflected poorly on the hotel’s commitment to guest service and hospitality. What should have been a simple, respectful interaction turned into an unnecessarily stressful encounter.

We understand that hotel staff are responsible for ensuring safety and adherence to policy, but this should always be done with professionalism and respect—neither of which were present in this case. We hope that this issue will be addressed internally to ensure future guests are treated with the courtesy and dignity...

Every time I come to town, I enjoy staying at the Doubletree here in Sioux City, Iowa. Raquel Oatman is an amazing manager. She goes above and beyond and makes my stay more relaxing. This time I was in town to deal with leases and get some rental properties rented out. I asked her nicely if she would mind printing out these leases for me because I couldn’t figure out how to use the printer. I am not electronics smart. She took the time out of her busy day and also a young man that worked 3 to 11.. The rooms are cozy. The pillows are comfy. I love the extra touch that it says welcome in your name when you’re arrive in your room the motel is always clean. The breakfast is great and the two young men that run the breakfast place are so friendly. Always such a blessing to see friendly basis when it comes to town. Another additional plus is definitely the restaurant. Great waitresses of the atmosphere. Your guys is asparagus is out of this world. Best part is that you get a discount if you stay at the motel for long-term, which is super nice because it’s very expensive when you’re traveling out of town. You guys are doing great. Keep up the good work until...
