Alley Art — Attraction in Sioux City

I've lived here for 10 years and never knew this was here. Someone suggested it as a location for my son's senior pictures and we absolutely loved how they turned out! It felt like we were in an outdoor art gallery. Just had to kick some trash out of the way from time to time. Also... it's in the heart of downtown so any artwork that is done inside of a doorway; brace yourself for the overwhelming scent of urine (it's not a complaint, it's a warning. I loved seeing part of the alley, but we felt a bit uncomfortable going through it because the alley is very dirty and full of trash and bottles everywhere. It’s a shame it isn’t kept up. It’s a very unique place and fun to see the diversity in the art. Never would’ve known about this place without having us had to wait so long at a nearby restaurant, so I’m glad...

The valley murals look like a psychedelic art museum — beautiful, wild, and mind-bending. Also had that ‘am I admiring art or auditioning for a kidnapping?’ kind of vibe. 10/10 experience, would get creeped...
