I am beyond myself with how it went. I have been so many times and never had an issue before. Yet for some reason even though I was holding my daughter's hand while walking around I had people coming in and watching her. And she was playing in the play area and she was climbing on something and I was not aware there was small sign on a door that said no climbing, a lady came in and let me know she can't climb and I said "okay" because thats understandable. Yet she continued to say and with a nasty tone in her voice "I have it up too" absolutely not necessary since I've acknowledged her already. Then when I left she got real sorry when I brought up to her that it was not okay to have 5 different people throughout the levels come and watch my daughter. She even pointed out the main person I had a concern with and I didn't even give details about a single one. "oh the tall man in a red shirt? He wasnt watching you, I'm so sorry you...

The Sioux City Art Center is a really cool place! Considering that this is in a medium-size Midwestern city, the art center has a really impressive collection of work, is nicely designed, and does a great job of showcasing the art of local and regional artists. I was very impressed by the space, the friendliness of the staff, and the variety of work displayed throughout the building. The other great part is that it's free, it has kid friendly options, and it makes for a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours. Please go check out the Sioux City Art Center if you...

An absolutely fantastic grouping of local artists. Everything we saw was exceptionally well done and one of the exhibits even went through the different creation processes. Form, color, light... the list goes on. Probably the best part is that right now they are showcasing art from the Communities Action Agency of Siouxland's Early Childhood Programs. A bunch of art on display from infants up through 5 and 6 year olds with some exhibits going on display later this month for some of the local elementary aged children. A great place to visit with...

The Sioux City Art Center has been one of my favorite places to go through on the weekend. The architecture of the building, the lawn sculptures changed out, and how they've upkept everything over the years is great. This last time I went, I got to see the lego towers. It was great fun! I am a little disappointed with some of the current displays. They've done a great job with others before, but now it's a little scant and more modern/abstract. Some of these are great! But some are harder to appreciate.

Yes, this is a great place for kids. The kids visiting when we visited were all having a blast; however, we had no kids with us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. "Towers of Tomorrow" was a fabulous exhibit: educational about numerous skyscrapers, some well-known and some I'd never heard of, but also stunning in its own right as each is constructed from thousands upon thousands of Lego. Whether you take the kids or go on your own, this is a very nice museum.
