Five Below — Attraction in Slidell

I. Friggin. LOVE. This. Place. Its price range is similsrvto Family Dollar/ Dollar General. But the merch is WAAAAY trendier. Lots of super cute accesories for wearing or decorating kids room. Good selection of art and stationary. Great selection of candy and snacks.

Little to no kitchenish stuff. But wtorage items are hella And the makeup and toiletries are fun and kid friendly, but not high quality, or name brand overstock deals like you find occasionally at Dollar Tree.

Highly recommend as a place to let kids shop for family for holidays. Lots of stuff thats not garbage but fits tight budget. Definately good place to fill easter baskets or stockings at without heing boring.

The store was clean and well stocked, but not well staffed. There were two very young men working who had zero interest in the customers. My 5 year old grandson picked up a pack of gumballs that was open, and they spilled on the floor. A young man who worked there came down the aisle and, when I told him, he said "Ummm, okay.", grabbed a bag of candy for himself, and took off. We were at the self check, which is all that is available, and I had two items that wouldn't scan. I pressed the help button, which makes an announcement that someone is coming. There was only one register open. There was 15 people in line. All the rest of the registers either said close or broken.
