5 Stars – Mattress Direct Gave Me Comfort, Chaos, and a Front Row Seat to Glory

I walked into Mattress Direct expecting a firm mattress and maybe a decent financing plan. What I got was a front-row seat to an event that felt half action movie, half fever dream—and I’ll never be the same.

Mark and Sadie were absolute legends from the start. Super helpful, zero pressure, and incredibly knowledgeable. I was about to pull the trigger on a hybrid mattress when the front doors exploded open like a folding table at a backyard wrestling match.

Enter Rob Horn—deathmatch icon, human steel trap, walking intensity. Right behind him? His girlfriend Jordan—gorgeous, sharp-eyed, wearing mirrored sunglasses indoors like she invented confidence. She didn’t walk. She glided. Together they looked like the final boss couple of your favorite action game.

Rob roared, “I need a mattress that can survive a moonsault. And so can I.” Jordan coolly added, “And it better match our aesthetic—or I’ll set it on fire.”

Before anyone could respond, the air split open near the adjustable beds. An evil wizard materialized in a cloud of mattress tags and dark sorcery. “Only the Worthy may claim the Sacred ComfortCore,” he bellowed, summoning enchanted box springs to block the exit.

Without hesitation, Rob cracked his neck, Sadie armed herself with contour pillows, and Mark hoisted a rolled hybrid like a battle hammer. Jordan? She pulled out a glowing remote control, whispered “zero gravity mode,” and a levitating mattress launched her straight into the fray.

What followed was pure chaos: Mark parried spells with warranty paperwork, Sadie hurled throw pillows with surgical precision, and Rob—Rob straight-up suplexed a summoned demon through a memory foam display. Jordan dueled the wizard mid-air, her sunglasses never shifting, until she knocked his wand away with a well-aimed adjustable bed frame.

The wizard, defeated, vanished in a puff of lavender-scented mist. Rob turned to Mark and said, “That hybrid in the corner. Wrap it up.” Jordan nodded. “And throw in two satin pillowcases. I like a little danger, but I sleep soft.”

I bought the same mattress they did. I haven’t had a bad night of sleep since.

I bought a king split king koil mattress and after they delivered it they bought the wrong sheet sets so had to get on the phone with Mark our sales person . At first they wanted us to wait until the next day to get the correct sheets from them . After telling them if I didn't receive the sheets the same day to come and pick up the entire order that they delivered to me . Mark made it right and he delivered the sheets to my house the same day . When it was time to go to bed my wife and I was laying in the bed and turned on the relax mode and the relax mode would never turn off . I had to unplug the bed to rest the motor to no avail. The next day went back to the store and explained our most terrifying night of sleep my wife and me ever had. Mark was able to get his managers to swapt out for a new king koil matters but I have to wait until Tuesday June 24 , 2025 for that delivery to come . After talking with my wife we called Mark back at mattress direct and advised him that we wanted to cancel that order and change it out for the sealy posturepedic elite high point 2 hybrid mattress . At that time Mark advide that he could not cancel that order , and that we had to wait until 45 days and than we can change out the king koil mattress for any other mattress that they sell for the 143.00 dollar exchange policy. Guess I have no choice but to wait the 45 days to do the exchange. I guarantee you that my wife and I will exchange this mattress. In my opinion this mattress is not worth the 10,000.00 that this mattress cost with the base But I will say that Mark did go beyond his due diligence to make us happy...

My son & I stopped in to purchase a new set for him. We were promptly greeted by Christie & Genaye! Christie suggested that my son take the mattress finder assessment (sorry, I can’t remember the exact name!). I went in with no plans to purchase a set for myself but decided to take the quiz assessment anyway. We were both provided with pillows that suited our needs. Christie escorted my son while Genaye helped me. Both ladies were very patient & knowledgeable in answering our questions. I ended up purchasing not only a full set for my son but also a power base for myself! I’ve suffered from insomnia & physical pain for years & found that in that short visit to the store, I found the comfort that a mountain pf bed pillows couldn’t provide.
