Fiery Crab Seafood Restaurant And Bar - Slidell — Restaurant in Slidell

Food was good.I went in on super bowl sunday.With my god, sister and her two daughters it was my God sister's birthday. We didn't plan to go to fiery crab. It just so happened that we went so while we were there, it was someone else's birthday and they were singing to her. They came out with the sign. So it's was my God sisters birthday as well so she wanted them to sing to her so she could record it and I said, well, tell the waitresses so they could do it I was not aware that they give out beignets or whatever they give out free. I didn't hear that part of the discussion, but anyway, my God sister left before we did she had other plans So she completely forgot about them singing which they had no intentions on doing anyway So when she left which no one at our table even thought about them coming to sing because she left it was just me and my nieces, we weren't worrying about them coming to sing it's not our birthday and definitely didn't give a d* about no beignets. We wasn't even thinking about it, because none of this was planned. Anyway, it's me and my 2 nieces sitting there. We were paying our bills. So the lady had been brought our ticket to pay so I paid my ticket in cash and I was leaving her a $10 Tip, so we were getting ready to leave out the door I didn't want to leave the tip just on the table. I don't trust nobody. So I wanted to put the tip in her hand or just make her aware that we we're leaving and the tip was on the table. Sister girl was hiding because she felt like we was waiting around for whatever they give out for free to there birthday guest , so she went in hiding. So then when I sent my niece to go ask if she left for the night now she pops back up, but then stands at the cash register and proceeded to talk about me and my nieces to the other young lady who was at the register, like as if we were waiting on the free whatever they was given out but we was not waiting on anything other than to give her her tip. I don't understand people, but I do get that My name and character has been ruined all across the united states, but I just wanted to leave a tip in your hand I was not expecting you to bring anything to me when she approached me, she was like oh the guy's fixing the beignets right now baby, we have been looking for you for about forty five minutes baby I didn't even know anything about any beignets, and trust me I did not care I was definitely enjoying the conversation with my nieces but that was my experience the food was good, but the negativity they could have kept and if y'all gonna talk about the customers go in the back so they can't see you God bless yall and all who take time...

I can not recommend this restaurant. At 7:01 pm I called and placed an order. I was told it would be ready in 40 - 50 minutes. I came at 8:00 pm to pick up the order and the young lady at the register informed me that she did not have a ticket for my order. I showed her on my phone where I called their number at 7:01 pm. She told me that calls go to a call center and tickets are sent to the restaurant from the call center so they made a mistake and didn’t send my order. I asked how long would it be till I could get my order and was told 10 - 15 minutes. I told the young lady I had to be some where to pick up another order so I would do that and return . After I left I realized she didn’t ask me which sauce or heat level I wanted so I called the restaurant’s number to give that information to the call center so they could give it to the restaurant. Someone answered and I started to explain the situation. That is when the young girl told me she already knew that she was the one I spoke to inside. I asked her how was I talking to her if all calls went to a call center ??!!?? At this point I asked to speak to a manager. I explained what happened to the manager, this was a female manager, she told me my order was ready when I first came; by this time it was 8:25, I asked for my order to be remade if it was now sitting for what could be an hour and 25 minutes. She said she would and would call the owner about a discount for my trouble. She said she had to call him and could I hold; 20 minutes later the call was disconnected. I called back. This time I was put on the phone with a male manager. I explained what happened and the same thing was told to me and I was put back on hold; this time for 15 minutes and then disconnected. I called back. The male manager told me that they were too busy with other customers to deal with a discount. At this point , almost 2 hours after placing my order, wasting my gas going there and coming back, I told him to forget about it and I left. I love the fiery crab in New Orleans but will never make the mistake of give my business to this...

So, the food is amazing! I ordered take out for my family today. I had gone and picked up our food. The bags were tied into a knot and I assumed everything would be there. So, after arriving back home with dinner I proceeded to make all of our plates of food. My wife was stuck on the chocolate cheesecake so I ordered it for her. I had forgotten about me even ordering the cheesecake. So after we had eaten dinner she wanted the cheesecake for her dessert. After she requested her dessert it dawned on me that was one thing I had not seen while I was making our plates.this was around 4 p.m. today when she was informed that they did not give it to us. So, I called them up to inform them of the missing cheesecake and to my surprise a call center had answered the phone. It's been three hours now and all I'm hearing is she wish she had her cheesecake. I understand the fast paste food industry as I was a line chef. So, as a customer I feel that I shouldn't have to run back out to get something that's been forgotten and it should be delivered by an on standby delivery person. Granted, I run a business and stand behind it and make sure that my clients are not inconvenience by something I may have forgotten. So, be sure to check your orders before leaving so you're not inconvenienced. The food was superb. Five Star on the food, one star for the inconvenience that was caused.
