The outlet it a far cry from what it used to be. It's such a dreary place to shop...yet, there's always room for improvement with the right leadership. Meaning, someone whose solution driven and diversified in their thinking, could make the complex (as a whole) architecturally attractive again. This includes, but is not limited to, the outlets grounds (the planting of trees, beautiful flowers and, the use of outdoor art...it's a wonderful idea). As a result, there's a possibility for stores that left, to come back...or, newer brands would invest. It's quite an ideal location. To this point, there isn't enough bathrooms on the complex...let alone clean ones.
The design of the parking lot (to enter and exit the outlet) leaves you wondering (at best) who has the right of way when leaving the complex at certain exits (the entrance/exit closes to Adidas & Children's Place specifically). To this point, the design of the parking lot creates (slight) confusion for cars trying to get to a specific store. Lastly, If you're looking for a variety of places to eat, you may want to come outside the complex to do so. If I'm correct, there's only three restaurants there...with Cracker Barrel being one of them. In conclusion, the same stores have been there for many years... other than the ones that have closed. There are a lot of new brands out here nowadays. I wish they'd bring some of them to the outlet. Happy shopping...
Read moreI came, I glanced, I conquered (my wallet). Carolina Premium Outlets doesnât just sell stuff â it magically seduces your senses, your credit card, and your impulse to say, âYes, I definitely need that.â
From the moment the sun crept over the parking lot it whispered, âCome. Be fashionably flawed. Embrace the markdown.â And so I did.
Every store beckoned. Coach winked at me. Nike high-fived me. Bath & Body Works tempted me with scents so intoxicating I nearly brought one home for my mailbox. I rounded the corner into Bose and nearly kissed the speaker â the sound was that delightful.
At the Pretzel stand, Auntie Anneâs coaxed me with warm doughy promises. Dairy Queen sang sweet siren calls of frozen creamy joy.
The layout is so intuitive that my feet (rebelling though they were) followed a perfect pathway through deals and steals. They donât just show âoutletâ â they deliver out-let (as in, letting me out with more stuff).
I left with more bags than I came with. I left also with a lightness in my soul (and a slight wobble in my pocketbook). But mostly, I left saying: 5...
Read moreGreat place to travel to on a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon to do a little bit of shopping. As usual these outlet stores are very far away from the majority of the people that shot there and you find that the prices are expensive. the owners of the outlets are counting on you to have traveled far enough that if you don't buy something you feel like it's a wasted trip.
I just recently made a trip to the outlet and found one of my favorite stores closing. Haggars was one of two stores that kept me going to the outlet. Now that it is closing I guess I will do my shopping more online since I don't want to make that trip just for one store. But it is a nice environment to be able to walk around whether by yourself or with your significant other and browse stores.
With the covid-19 virus still running around some stores have a numbers limit on how many people can be in a store at a particular time so you might have to stand out and wait. But if that doesn't bother you and the high prices don't get your goat then travel to the outlet. Enjoy the drive and enjoy...
