We were seated quickly, and the server seemed nice enough. Unfortunately, that can't make up for the quality of the food we received. First issue was the bananas on our 2 kids pancakes. They were brown. Not just a little brown, but almost fully brown. We asked the sever if we could get fresh banana slices, and he got them. The bacon was beyond crispy, and burnt.
Next comes the chicken tenders meal. I ordered them buffalo style, as that was an option on the menu. When they came out they were plain. I informed the girl, and she said "oh, we have got hotsauce." I said no, I ordered them buffalo style, to which she replied "it's just the hot sauce. I'll bring you a jar." She delivered a jar of Frank's red hot sauce, and when I went to put some on my chicken tenders the opening was completely clogged with hard, crusty sauce. We again told our server, and he took it away to clean the jar. He brought it back to the table and walked away. I opened it, and even though he had cleaned the top itself, the opening was still filled with crusty hot sauce. I gave up at that point and just ate the tenders with ketchup. My baked potato was barely even warm as well.
My wife ordered a cheeseburger cooked medium with fries. The burger was well done and most of the fries were hard. She ate them anyway because at this point after 11+ hours in the car driving up from Florida, we really didn't want to wait for everything to be fixed(Having another early departure tomorrow).
The end is the kicker. When I went to pay, the woman asked me how everything was. My response was "Well, it was O.K." I'm not usually one to complain, but you would figure hearing a response like that might trigger some sort of follow up question. Nope...her response was "Great. Glad to hear that, your total is blay blah blah." I paid, and we left. We will not be returning here on future stays in the area. You need to do some quality control to avoid things like this...
Read moreThis Bob Evans is located near Interstate 95 at exit 95. We were looking for a lunch spot during our travels. We know this place is not available locally, so we decided to come here during our travel. Plus, it was around lunch time anyways, so it worked out. This place is a little crazy to get to when you don't know the area. There were two lanes going into the Outlet Center, where this place is located. On the way out of the outlet center, you'll need to go through a roundabout as well. Our visit here was on July 25, 2019.
When we came in, it looked like it was closer to the end of a rush that they may have had. Either way, we were immediately greeted and then seated when we came in. Within a minute or so, our server was at the table asking for our drink orders. After getting the drinks, she asked if we were ready to order, but we needed a few moments as they do have a large menu. After a few minutes, she came back and we were finally ready to order. I ended up going with the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. My mom went with the Pick Two Combo with Cheddar Baked Potato Soup and a Loaded Baked Potato.
After about 10 minutes, our orders came to the table. The food was nice and hot. The burger was cooked just as I had ordered. The burger was juicy and tasted great; it definitely hit the spot for me. My mom said the pick two choices were nice and hot, as well as tasty too. Our server did come to check on us while we were eating. Once we were done, I asked about getting drinks for us to go on the road and she got them for us.
Overall, the food was good and the service was as well. If my travels take me this way again in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. This place is worth checking out if you are hungry and...
Read moreI dislike giving bad reviews but I have to be honest. From the time we walked in something was off. I could see they didn't have but a few workers but we were not greeted immediately but the couple behind me were. And it was as if we were invisible until we was seated. Sat us across from older people who were doing alot of loud smacking. Their was enough room to give us space. Took the couple order that came in behind us and sat after us first. Made us wait at least 20 minutes or so before taking our order. We were about to walk out although our drinks were already given to us.
The atmosphere was terrible, the service wasn't good regardless a Skelton crew don't EVER mistreat people or make them wait or make them last that's rude and disrespectful. I dont know if it was a color thing it doesn't matter. I dont care if we are pink, blue or yellow good customer service is a MUST. The food was just ok nothing great, good or amazing. I only ate it because my sister wanted to see if the steak was good like it use to be and it definitely isn't. The steak was to be medium well but it was far too pink in the middle to be medium and it was chewy. I didn't eat most of it.
I notice how the waitress was kind, bubbly, and asking everyone else if they needed something or if everything was OK. She asked us once. Maybe because I told her we been ready and it wasn't in a rude mean way at all. I brush alot off but was pissed the entire time sitting there in disgust. I WILL NEVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN. I COULD HAVE GOTTEN BURGER KING AND BEEN TREATED BETTER AND IT TASTE BETTER. SN: EVERYONE IS SOMEONE AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOU MAY BE ENTERTAINING. OR IF I WAS SENT THERE TO OBSERVE. REALLY NEED...
