I traveled from Texas to North Carolina on a road trip. My booking was for the 3rd - 5th of Jan. I realized I would not make it to NC by the 3rd and called the hotel and advised I would make it in the morning. I was told that is fine. I was checked in over the phone. He said just ask for the key to the room when I get there. I said okay. Now when I arrived the next morning. This lady was at the counter. She did not greet or smile. She was definitely one of those employees that did not want to be there and should not be in customer service. I asked for the key to my room and provided ID. She looks on the computer reviewing something. She asked, "So you checking out?" I said, "No." The booking should be for the 3rd to 5th. Is it not for that date. She never answered. She said and you dont have a key card. I said no. She does something on the computer for a minute then finally gives me a key card. She whispers 304. I said huh. She said 304. I go up with my kiddos and key card don't work. Mine you my daughter is autistic and deathly afraid of elevators. She crying and want to be picked up. I did a long drive so I'm hella tired. I go down and say the key doesn't work. She says nothing. She gives me a new key card. I go back. It doesn't work. I had to go back down and request a new room. She takes the card and leaves. I just assumed she was checking the door. I patiently wait. I go to get some breakfast out of the lobby. I figured a nice bowl of cereal would be good, but was advise the milk never came. I just offered my daughter the dry cereals and had an apple juice. The rep came back without a word. I asked if there's an update. She kind of whisper she going to have someone check the door. I go back to checking on my daughter and lil cuz. As I am dealing with them, I turn around and I see the rep arm outstretched with another card. I walk over and she whispers 324. We head up to the room and it worked. Inside the room, the restroom light and vent is only one switch, so it was always loud when going into the restroom. That was the only irritating thing about the room. There was a little peice of baseboard was missing by the mini fridge. We did not get the wifi password at check in, so my lil cuz had to call for it. They told her it was on the holder they give with the card. We never got a holder. Someone walked up to the room and asked, so you don't have this. My lil cuz said no, so they gave us one. The beds were soft and I slept pretty well. I checked out on the 5th. Another rep was talking to someone else, but did acknowledge me. I said checking out. She said okay and that was it. Did not check me out on the computer or give a receipt. I hope I got checked out in time. I was too tired to deal with it knowing I had a long drive home. This place stressed me out. I will never book here again or...
Read moreWe booked here based on the booking.com reviews. That was a mistake. Those reviews are from 2018.
When we came in at 1am, after driving 30 hours through a snow storm. We were greeted with an unfriendly front desk attendant who informed us they were putting a hold on our card for incidentals because we had booked and paid through a third party (Priceline). We picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool and continental breakfast. The pool was closed and the continental breakfast was a brown bag. I seriously felt like they were treating us like homeless people. It was ridiculous. We actually went to the 2 star hotel next door where my dad was staying (Baymont) for breakfast. We should have stayed there.
Our room was not cleaned. There was blood on the bathroom walls and floor, sticky substances on the door and walls. A cobweb had been sprouting for probably months. Front desk attendants were not helpful nor were they courteous. They were lazy. When I called and told them about the blood on the wall, he apologized and said he would send someone up to clean it. After waiting an hour (it’s now 230am). I desperately need sleep but can’t knowing there is blood on the walls.. I went down to see what was going on and he said well we don’t have housekeeping at night. So I asked him if he had a blood born pathogen kit. He said they don’t have those. Pretty sure hotels have to have those. If not, you’re putting your entire staff at risk on a daily basis and you should be ashamed of your self. I asked him for gloves and cleaning supplies to clean it my self. I’ve been trained in cleaning blood. But the point is, I paid for a hotel expecting it to be cleaned! I paid for peace of mind! I paid for a good nights sleep, a hot shower and good customer service! I got none of that. The only person courteous to us was the young man in housekeeping who came up 14 hours after we reported the blood and verified it and cleaned it. I videoed the condition of this room because since they put a hold on my card for incidentals, I don’t want to get charged for how filthy that room was (room 222). I also called Raddison customer service and emailed them twice within 24 hours of our stay. They only offered to cancel our reservations! Nothing else! It seems in the age of the pandemic no one at this hotel cares if you come into contact with something like blood.
I usually choose country inn and suites over other hotels when I travel. This was such a horrible experience, I will not stay there again, or anything Under the umbrella...

I don't even know where to begin. For starters and the good part of the stay, the beds are not bad. As for the cons, I do not think this place lives up to Radisson standards. Very dirty, and fowl smells. Pool is not operational, no breakfast available (only bags with a muffin, orange, bottle of water) available at front desk. No comfortable outside seating area and limited staff available. Front desk staff is poor at best. Our room (217) did not have proper water temperature in the shower, it was either ice cold or scolding hot, I had to take cold showers, I initially thought it was just me, until my girlfriend came out with red skin and also complained of the scolding hot water and couldn't even finish rinsing her hair; as I was reviewing property reviews I found another review complaining of this (see photos). Also missing a curtain. In closing, found all kinds of good stuff under the bed and stands including open food bags, ebt cards from previous guests, etc. I requested a refund within 20 mins of being here and it was declined, so I made the best of it. I will never stay at a Radisson property again. There are 5 hotels immediately surrounding this place, I highly recommend you look into them. The excuse for everything in this place was they are waiting for the inspection to open up completely. The reviews all seem to be the same as of late. I doubt it take over a month for an inspection. I would like to also add, the other 5 properties must have had their inspections as their pools are operational and they are...
