Blue Hen Dental — Attraction in Smyrna

I first came to Blue Hen Dental a couple of months ago and it was the best decision I've made this year! I have absolutely no regrets. Due to the pandemic and various life changes over the past few years my dental health has unfortunately suffered. It came to a head a few months ago when I started experiencing terrible pain. To make matters worse, the dentist I was going to before stopped taking my insurance for whatever reason. I reached out to Blue Hen Dental and they were able to get me in quickly and accommodate me to provide me with some much needed relief and also worked with me to come up with a plan to repair the damage that had been done and keep it from getting worse. The whole staff welcomed me with open arms as a new patient, I get nothing but good vibes from everyone I come into contact with there. The level of comfort I felt was an even better feeling than the relief I got from the tooth pain. Dr. Baqi does immaculate work as well and you can tell he really cares about his patients by the quality of the work he does. I posted some before and after pictures of the fillings I just got done and it's like a night and day difference! I am a new customer to Blue Hen Dental. I went there for a second opinion on a root canal. When I went I found out that they did them there so I scheduled it. Like so many other people I am terrified of the dentist. So before my appt I debated counseling it or just dealing with the pain. The day before my appt (which was on a Saturday so that was very convenient) the dentist himself called me to walk me through my appt. I was blown away by that. He was so sweet and so informative. He walked me through everything. So when Saturday came I was feeling a little bit better about it but still very nervous. Which I am sure they could tell. I even tried to get out of the root canal that morning. But Dr. Baqi and his assistant Karri talked to me and made me feel so much better and calmer. They talked me through the entire procedure and made sure I was ok the whole time. The procedure went amazing and there was no pain or anything. Even now I feel amazing like nothing ever happened. Dr B! I can’t say enough about him. He is the kindest, personable and most professional dentist I have come across. He is very compassionate and confident about his work. This is the first dentist I went to that actually made me laugh and puts your care ahead of bottom dollar. I’ve had poor dental hygiene, ashamed of my mouth and no Dental care most of my life. Past dentists have been so judgmental. Not Dr B! He has a straightforward approach and he listens to you. I had to have three teeth pulled, (he wanted to save two of them but I said no) and I’m telling you this -I felt absolutely no pain. He took the time to make sure I was numbed and then he checked to make sure that I was numbed completely before he pulled my teeth. Although he is not in my network, I do not care. I’m still gonna go see him for further treatment because I have a lot of work that needs to be done on my teeth so I can have a confident healthy smile again. Dr. B is dentist of the year.
