Lincoln Park Skatepark — Attraction in Somerville

A great place to bring little kids and break away to skate. Playground is top notch. Skatepark is a tight little plaza. Rougher than it looks. Ledges grind real nice. Unskateable with 2 or more scooter kids. Probably best to deck the biggest scooter kid and they'll go away so you can actually session the place. I regularly drive an hour to lynch Park. I probably wouldn't for this unless it was to film a grind around the entire curved ledge. That's the big draw. If it was next door I would skate...

Not a skater but I'm just happy seeing young people playing and doing cool ollies and such. Every time someone calls the cops on them for being too loud or whatever I'm just angry. Let the people skate and do parkour. Luckily it hasn't seemed to happen much in the last few months. Great park! It has a big play structure for big kids and small one for small kids, swings, small splash pad, ball fields (basketball, baseball, soccer), open grass area, small exercise station, skate park, parkour area, and lots of benches and some picnic tables.
