We ordered online to pick up the food at the restaurant. when I arrived at the restaurant everything seemed fine; The bag was ready and I paid to receive the food. Then, one of the employees told me that there were some items missing and that it would take a little while for them to prepare my order, so I waited. After 5 minutes of waiting without any explanation other that there was something missing I overheard them speaking Spanish (I spoke to them in English even though I know hot to speak Spanish) and I think they though I couldn’t understand what they were saying. They said that they gave my order to a different person so they had to call that person to pick up the right order. 10 more minutes went by and they still did not explain to me personally what happened with the order. After asking them what happened they told me that in a few more minutes what was missing was going to be ready, so basically they lied to me and didn’t told me that someone else had my food. Finally, the woman arrived with my order and they gave her hers. When they had my order the man who received it went back to the kitchen as if my order had just been prepared instead of them giving me the bag the woman just dropped off. Second lie. I accepted the bag as the woman who had my order seemed nice and did not open the bag. But, after thinking about it for a while I realized my mistake. They treated me horrible by taking me as a fool.
My sister later called and their excuse was that she (one of the employees) was new. And yes, they admitted that they knew what was going on and that they didn’t told me what was happening. I am never coming back to this place again. The food is okay and they have good customer service most of the time, but this was just disgusting and disrespectful...
Read moreWe had dinner with a couple of friends on 9/21/2018. We ordered, empanadas, piqueo criollo, fried yuca, and charcoal marinated chicken with golden fries. The food was all great, specially the chicken: tender and flavourful. The problem was the bill... First of all, I simply don't agree with the American tipping culture. Waiters should get paid what they deserve, which is way more than they get, without restaurant owners speculating on how much will they make out of tips. Well... I agree even less with the tip being included on the bill. And even worse, after tax is added. So basically I am forced not only to tip 18% of the bill to the waiter, but also pay him 18% of my tax on the food? Absolutely ridiculous. I was utterly disappointed with this. Even not agreeing with this culture, I know they don't get fair wages, and the service was... average at least, so I would've left a tip, probably 15%. But being forced to do so, and over tax, is simply not acceptable for me. Unfortunately I will be searching for another good...
Read moreMe and my husband, we are from North Carolina. We traveled to Boston for business. We ordered rotisserie chicken and choclo con queso (corn with cheese).the green and the yellow sauce accompanie to the choclo con queso, both sauces didn't have flavor, and both were watering. I asked for the red sauce (rocoto) and the waiter responded me that they don't have it.Terrible big mistake. I am from Peru but sorry this food doesn't represent the authentic Peruvian food. But after searching many Peruvians restaurants, finally we felt in love with aji limeno, excellent Peruvian dishes, flavors, good service and we found the Peruvian sauces from the rocoto, well blended, and what to say about the green sauce soothes and smooth, and the yellow sauce 😋. Really good preparation of the authentic Peruvian flavor, special the ceviche with mix seafood and the jalea. We really enjoyed to eat at aji limeno. We went to eat there for two days on the road. Excellent...
