Never got to install.. Purchased online and picked up in store. When I receive the product it was dirty and had a dent in the back as if it had been used before or dropped. I mentioned this to the clerk while checking out and asked where the mount was to install it as I had read online that it came with a bracket. She pulled a picture of the controller up on her computer and it showed no bracket so she informed me that it did not include a bracket for mounting. I took the controller out to my truck in the parking lot and opened up the instructions. As I open the instructions up there is grease or dirty smears on the pages indicating to me that someone has already installed this exact unit and apparently returned it without the mounting bracket that the instructions I was reading clearly stated that the mounting bracket was included. I promptly returned this unit and got my money back. O'Reilly's asks not to mention their customer service in reviews but I believe that it should be included. Throughout this whole ordeal of missing parts and the dented and dirty controller the clerk treated me like it was my fault the controller was dented and dirty and there was no bracket to install it. Needless to say I do not feel good about O'Reilly's anymore and will probably be taking my business to another zone for auto parts. -&&&&&- A review is not a real review if you won't post it online because you are bias. Not to worry though, just because you will not let me post my real review on O'Reilly's website I am now going to post it everywhere else available. No idea why you act like you accept reviews but choose the ones want to post. That's pathetic and you have solidified my intents to go to a different Zone for my Auto Parts. Sincerely your extremely neglected...
Read moreO'Reilly's Auto Parts has all the parts that I typically need plus the workers are very helpful and knowledgeable.
When I noticed that my blinkers, we're not working. I stopped there. They were able to recommend the correct light bulbs for my car and were generous enough to lend me some tools to replace the lights.
They also do a free scanning. If you have any lights on your dashboard, they can read the codes and let you know the most likely reason behind those errors are. Jobs, usually charge $100 for the service. Also. If you want it to buy a scanner to tell you those codes, they sell one from very basic ones to ones that shops actually use and charge $100 per visit for although they cost less than $200 for the the machine that scans the codes.
They are very knowledgeable. And I like that they can tell me when two different two similar products are one's more expensive than the other they can recommend whether the prices are only different or if the quality is different and what quality is recommended.
It's true that the prices might be slightly more expensive than Walmart, but they have a much wider variety and the workers actually know what they are talking about. Unlike Walmart where they may tell you incorrect information, or if you get Services done there. They are not unusual to...
Read moreAmazing staff! My daughter is on a road trip alone in her 1998 E150 travel van with her cat, on her way from home (Dallas, TX) heading to Oregon for university. It's Thanksgiving eve and her alternator light came on at 7pm way out in Echo, Utah. By a miracle her battery kept the van running until she got to O'Reilly's in Ogden, UT and died in the parking lot at 8pm. Pretty scary as a dad. The staff was closing up for the holiday but found the alternator she needed and the tools too. She also gave her a really good price for a brand new one! So kind and helpful.
Tim, of All Roads Towing, happens to be there buying parts for one of his kids cars and hears my daughter trying to buy an alternator and borrow tools to try to put it on herself since everything is closed tomorrow. He graciously offers to tow her fully loaded van to his own yard/shop and installed the alternator for her. He is a knight in shining armor. If I lived up there I would use him and that O'Reilly's every chance I could.
I did go to Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant, UT for two years back in 1979 though :-)
Thank you O'Reilly's, Tim and All Roads Towing for being, apparently, sent by God or angels to my little girl's rescue when there is no way anyone else could have helped her. Can't thank...
