It was the night before Christmas and all through Marine Max Saint Pete all the creatures were starving even the rats.
All of the invoices were hung by the fireplace with Ripoff in mind, as Bruce and John figured ways of scamming you out of your hard earned money. Needless to say if their lips are moving their telling your nonsense.
We started off with a $6500 Cutlass bearing repair job. And that turned into $16,500 by the time they got done scamming me lying and out right BS. And that turned into $16,500 by the time they got done scamming me lying and out right BS.
not only did they caused damage to the hull with a 25 inch scratch on the outside blistering on the inside cabinets or damage due to excessive heat inside the cabin. overheated day one on the return generator broke down day one. After receiving bills for the work they’ve done which they have not said they did and did not. I’ve had other mechanics here on the Yacht and I’ve been informed Fuel filters that I was charge for by Marine Max John Bruce , We’re not changed. The generator diesel fuel filter has not been changed in at least two years. What a disgrace for them to take a yacht from someone, cause excessive damage and even talking about inside foot grease marks on the carpeting on the deck on the interior I had to pay $1500 to replace interior seats that they damage to a point of not being able to get the grease out right down to their fingerprints.
While working in the motor compartment on my yacht they left empty water bottles empty oil containers, empty Prestone containers, and the list goes on. I would not recommending doing any business with Marine Max John and less you plan on doing the work again.
And by the way I was told ,scratch on the exterior of my yacht was done by the anchor, the anchor was never drop it is a virgin. So that’s BS also.
Everyone must be where of the fact that if you bring your yacht, boat ,tub with electric motor on the back, whatever it is don’t worry they’ll mess it up. Be advised warning.
Extremely dissatisfied Michael Russo

I’ve called. And again your lips are moving your lying you robbed me for $16,500 plus damaged my Yacht
And I’m going to let everybody know what a bunch of...
Read moreI purchased a 2018 SeaRay 270 Sdx OB on July 6th, 2018. I wasn’t initially considering a SeaRay, but stopped in to check them out. Justin greeted me and he showed me the demo boat they have in inventory. He was very knowledgeable about the features of the boat. I explained to him what I was looking for and why. He explained very well how this model would meet all those needs. He offered to take me on a sea trial of the boat to see how it rides. The day of the sea trial he had the boat already in the water ready to go and had cold water ready at the scheduled time. He took me out and spent as much time as I wanted showing me the features of the boat and how it handles in rougher water. I really could see this boat was well made and decided to purchase it. Justin helped me coordinate the financing through the SeaMax business manager, Al. Al was excellent too. He was very responsive and his follow through skills are excellent. I was able to find an excellent rate outside of the lender MarineMax found for me and MarineMax was able to match the rate. The financing was all completed quickly and the closing was quick and easy. The delivery of the boat was excellent, best delivery experience I’ve had ever had. Justin took me on a tour of the service and parts department to meet the whole team. They all offered their cards and let me know if I ever need anything to call them anytime anyday. Everyone emphasized how the MarineMax experience does not end with the purhase that it is very important to them that our whole boat ownership experience is great. I could tell people who work there really take pride and enjoy their job. I met at least 10 people on the delivery and everybody congratulated me and gave me gifts, champagne, wine, a Christening bottle, coffee mugs, a gift basket. The boat was detailed before delivery and I had a captain to take me out to show me how to operate everything. He even went to my house and helped me set up my lift for the new boat. This took about an hour. After my first trip out I had a few small things that needed attention. The service manager Troy was able to get my boat in immediately and made a list and told me he would address all my issues and have me on the water by the weekend. Everybody at this dealership is very professional and it is well organized. I will definitely be back when it is time to get a larger boat in...

I Edward and Helen Brvenik, purchased a 2006 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer ( sport package) through your Marine Max Broker.
My broker was Ed Morris. Ed was very knowledgeable; he must have showed us 20 different boats. He was very patient with us. We are a family of 6 and with very busy schedule. Ed made the process very simple for us to purchase the boat. We told him our offer and I felt that Ed help me obtain a great deal on the boat. Ed drove to Panama Beach, FL to check on the boat during a sea trial and a survey.
We purchased the boat in Panama Beach, Florida. After the sale Ed continued to assist us making arrangement obtaining a shipper to ship the boat to Saint Petersburg, Fl. Ed also took the time to make arrangement for our boat to be serviced at the Marine Max in Pasadena, FL. . Ed Morris, has constantly cared about my boat from the time we purchased the boat through the maintenance process which lasted several months. My wife and I are truly impressed with Ed. Ed is truly a man of Integrity, and honorable. Most Brokers would have disappeared after the sale of the boat. With Ed, we have never felt rushed or pressured in deciding to purchase a boat.
Ed introduced me to Grant Cockerel, in service. Grant was the best man you could have to manage the work on my boat. Grant keep me informed every step of the way including while I was out of the country. Grant emailed me the progress of the boat. His quick response via email or telephone was great. Grant is truly an honorable person. Grant is truly an asset to your company.
I also had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Alvie and Mr. Zach they are the best mechanics. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Both Alvi and Zach answered all my question.
I visited your part department and met Mr. Ellison Apgar, very knowledgeable man. He must have spent 30 minutes trying to explain the different types of transducers for my boat. Truly a great person.
Mr. Lavine, my wife and I had a great experience at the South Pasadena Marine Max.
I hope you can reward Mr. Ed Morris, Mr. Grant, Mr. Alvie, Mr. Zach and Mr Allison for a job well done.
