Coastal Ice Cream and Sweet Bar — Restaurant in South Pasadena

Such a great hidden gem. My kids and I would come here periodically after a day at the park or swimming and the owners are always so incredibly sweet. The ice cream is delicious and prices more reasonable than any other ice cream parlor in our area. My daughter wanted an ice cream sprinkles themed birthday for her 5th birthday and rather than doing it at home with limited options, I had an idea of doing it here so they had unlimited options. We were very excited when they not only welcomed us to host her little birthday gathering here, but also allowed decorations, balloons and more. Even after the sugar kicked in and the girls started getting a bit crazy, the two women on staff remained so patient, kind, accommodating and allowed the kids and our adult guests to sample as many flavors as they wanted. Everyone loved their selections, but the best part was the peanut butter pie slices we got to go. Best in town. The pints are priced very reasonably which also allowed me to send some home with our guests which was really nice. Thank you coastal ice cream for making my daughters 5th birthday a beautiful one. Absolutely love it here!! Moved back to St. Pete a year ago and this is our favorite ice cream shop in the area by far! Excellent dairy free options (can even do df milkshakes!) and oh my gosh, their peanut butter Ice cream pie is AMAZING!! Had a craving for it tonight and am finishing a slice right now as I type! ;) They also do whole ice cream pies which we will definitely be ordering during the holidays. I absolutely love this place it reminds me of a place I went as a child. The smell the taste the environment is so welcoming and charming. Honey, the ice cream is just beyond delicious I mean I had carrot cake ice cream like mind blown. It was devoured lol. This is a definite must visit ice cream shop.
