Pizza Hut — Restaurant in South Pasadena

Have eaten at this Pizza Hut for years and they have gone ALL the way downhill. The last straw was during our last purchase.

We ordered a large Stuffed Crust pizza with 16 wings and a 2 liter. Asked for the pizza to be well done. The order arrives without the wings. We call the store and they say that they’re sorry the driver forgot them, if you want them you will have to come pick them up. I thought that was a bit ridiculous since we paid several extra fees for delivery. We agreed to pick them up. But wait there’s more!

When checking the pizza I noticed that the pizza wasn’t Stuffed Crust. Also it was UNDERCOOKED!! Not even overly picky with this well done preference but normally request it so it’s not doughy. I call the store again and they say “oh sorry we meant to call you but we ran out”. At this point we were already heading there. We go in to pick up our cold wings so we can go back home to eat our cold mistake pizza and request a refund.

They tell us that the manager isn’t in but they will write down “refund” on the ticket and that’s it. We’re satisfied with this because even though it’s cold and not what we ordered if there’s no charge for all of the mistakes and inconveniences then whatever right?

WRONG!! We never get a refund. We call back on two separate occasions to get the refund processed. Most recently they say the manager will call us to get the refund finalized. Weeks later still no call or refund. You guys dropped the ball and refuse to make it right. As far as chain pizzas go, avoid this one! A fish stinks from the head down! The leadership here needs...

Google asked me to review my recent experience visiting this establishment so I am caving into peer pressure and doing so. We ordered a pizza, some bread sticks and a two liter bottle of Coke. One of my first thoughts after ordering was, why do we buy soda products in 2 liter packages but refuse to let the metric system in any other part of our lives? Well, not counting the illegal drug market. ......Anyway the order was placed as a pick up order as we were already out driving around at the time and this Pizza Hut location is for pick up or delivery only, so eating there was not really an option since I was not even parked in a parking space while I was there. The passenger in the car went in to pick up the items while I stayed in the car. Partially because she is nice that way and probably partially because I walk really slow and get distracted easily. I assume the transaction went well on the pick up as she did not mention any issues on the drive home other than eating hot fresh bread sticks tends to burn the fingers and the hot pizza was quite toasty on the legs. The pizza was everything I expected it to be, not memorable nor anything to not be happy with. The parking lot was nice as far as parking lots go, there was plenty of parking options and more than one entrance and exit to the shopping center. I find that to be a good asset to parking lots. I thank you for your time and hope I have made your choice of picking this establishment one of your easier...

AWFUL!! I wish I could leave negative stars. Do not order from this location!! Not for quality, but customer service!! I have NEVER in my life written a review for a food place, but I feel obligated. Waited over 2 hours!! Finally decided to call and they said they couldn't find my house....what? I've ordered from you before. When I call a guy answers and immediately gives me a snarky tone about how he called and left a message and how he looked on Google maps and couldn't find it....uh...yeah, you can bro. I literally have 0 messages on my phone and no missed calls as well. On top of all that, he says sorry my bad with a tone and hangs up on me. SO, in conclusion. Just go to a different location. These people are extremely rude, they seem to lie, and they can't find a set location on Google maps....
