The venue was absolutely too hot and the manager has terrible communication and customer service skills. She told me that she had lavender linen however when I arrived the linen was purple. I left a few unopened items in the fridge (bottled water, several bottles of soda, and 3 gallons of ice cream) she stated I could pick them up the following Thursday and would give me a time but never contacted me. I reached out again and she stated that they threw the items away….remind you I contacted her just an hour after I left and I know for a fact they were still in the refrigerator unopened. She also lied and told me they throw things away immediately as if she never told me I could pick them up. Once I sent her the screen shot of our conversation she changed her story. Kay the owner was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL when I came in for my tour. She was "catching up" with a friend when I entered the building at my appointed time. She didn't think to greet me instead she started yelling out questions to me such as "what date did you want again?" "What time did you want?". All of these questions should have been asked when she greeted me, but she never did. After waiting 10 mins for her to stop talking to her friend she then told me that I could walk around by myself and If I had any questions I could ask her. She wasn't personable at all, and all of her answers were one worded and dry. She needs to quit the business of SERVING others or she needs to take a class on how to give proper and professional customer service. I won't ever recommend this...

I had my baby shower here and the venue itself is nice. However once my event ended, they locked the doors so that the people who needed to clean up and get their decor couldn’t get in. They charged me $125 for the things that were still in there even though THEY locked the doors. I had to reach out multiple times about my refund and I was told that I should have it back within “48 hours.” A whole week went by and I had to reach out again before Kay, the owner, told me I had to “request” it from her on cash app. Pareik is cool for parties and events because of the space but Kay is very unprofessional and it’s so...
