Wasted potential.
I have been to this location a handfull of times. Let me tell you something, some of the best chicken I've ever had. And I've been to a TON of absoloutely fantastic chicken restaurants so that says a lot. As a matter of fact i would rate this place It's highly deserved 5 stars if not for one very glaring and HUGE issue. On my first appearance at the place, when I read the reviews and was confused out of my mind at the negative feedback...but after going there 8 times or so I see why.
The staff is HORRIBLY undisciplined. Key word "undisciplined" they are nice and friendly and can carry conversations well. They do their jobs well, not exactly efficient.
I show up to this place...somewhat often maybe once or twice a week for a little while now. Their opening times are 11am which is usually when I myself take my lunch. This location is NOT for early risers.
I have had to wait until near 11:45am until I actually had to leave to return to work because they took so long to open. On that note i have no idea if they even opened at that time because of the fact I left. Which means they could've been closed still for even longer possibly.
-this is not just a one time occurrence however. I'd say 5 of the 8 times I've been there the restaurant was closed until 11:20am to 11:30am. Which might not sound like much, but for people taking lunch off work during the day thats kinda a big deal.
The next issue is the time it takes for them to make a meal. I typically order their chicken strip and chicken wing combo when I go there and to wait it takes about 20 to 30 minutes sometimes even more. I myself have worked at KFC and know how this stuff is typically prepared. I can tell you for certain I can cut that time down to 15 or 10 bear minimum with my own cooking equipment.
When i worked at KFC previously, my boss would simply have us there almost 2 hours early to make sure everything is ready on opening time.
It's kinda sad actually to see a place with so much potential succumb not to food quality, not to customer service, not to price of food, but to something as simple as laziness. What is even more baffling is that they are lazy...at 11 am? Like...its not even that early.
I WANT to like this place, i WANT to support it. However when I go out to lunch and think of this place, the last thing i should be thinking is "will i even be able to make it in the door today?" Because that's what it is...a gamble. And because of that other lower quality places will continue to get better...
Read moreThis restaurant charged my son, who used my debit card for a $17.23 purchase, $110.52. I called them SEVERAL times throughout the day to find out what was going on in their establishment and for them to refund that amount immediately. No one ever answered the phone so I, being handicap, had to actually wait on a ride to physically go there to confront them about this issue and the manager on duty(Jonathan), said he couldn’t fix the problem so he reached out to his DM. His DM said to get the last four of the card used and it would be rectified in approximately an hour. Of course with my son being so young, unfortunately, he didn’t keep the receipt. However, the charge showed immediately in my alerts on my phone. I haven’t been able to reach Jonathan and the other name and number I was given was for a Calvin. I did speak to him a couple of times and he said he would make me whole and refund the entire amount and it would show in my Acct in about two days. Well, it’s going on two weeks and I have been unsuccessful in reaching both Jonathan and Calvin but spoke to a Sylvester(another manager), just yesterday who was quite rude. I will NEVER allow my son to visit this restaurant again. As of today, I’m still waiting on my refund of $110.52 and for someone to contact me and...
Read moreToday I had the most unprofessional, rude and disrespectful experience at this establishment. When I entered this restaurant, there were two people ahead of me and a lady who entered into the restaurant shortly after me. I’m waiting in line to pick up a couple of orders. About a few seconds later, this woman behind me yelled towards the back of the restaurant, “Is that my cousin?” The gentleman said “Yeah!” Then he greeted the lady and the two proceeded to have a conversation. No big deal. While I’m waiting in line he proceeds to ask her what did she order and the lady tells him. By this time, I’m next in line. I then see the gentleman begin to prepare the woman’s order (his cousin) before the cashier gives me my order. I then hear him tell the cashier (trying to whisper) while looking at me, to cash the woman out before me. Both the cashier and gentleman look at me directly and proceeded to cash the woman out. I have never seen such blatant disrespect, unprofessionalism and rudeness. I would never patronize this restaurant if this is the type of service demonstrated in the restaurant. I will be sure to tell friends and family not to patronize this restaurant. If I could give zero...
