Shawarma Grill — Restaurant in Southfield

This was by far the most disgusting food I have ever eaten! As a matter fact I refuse to eat it, space so literally I just wasted $38 my time driving to the restaurant and I have a visual of that nasty place that I can never get out of my head! The doors were nasty with fingerprints, the floor was nasty the clear divider between the cash register and the food was nasty, space the little Buffay area where the food was left is though it had been sitting there all day. I was already hesitant but the reviews help me fooled!!! I tried and I just must say that first impressions really do speak volumes! You all need to clean that place up first of all! Love this place. Very fast service. Ask for the XL bread, it is worth the upgrade cost. They will add whatever toppings you want.

9-19-18 Follow up review, If this was the first time I was here it would get 1 star. New workers since I was in last. They were out of XL bread or no longer have it available, not sure which as I was having trouble communicating with the cook. Got the regular pita. He didn't have it in the press long enough and most of the swarma was cold. I ordered a combo and had to ask a second time to get the rice. Also needed to ask for the curry on top. Ever have a meal so good, you had to call somebody to tell them about it? Yeah, that was my experience with Shawarma Grill. I stopped here while out, and, about one day doing errands. I decided to try it on a whim, and I'm very glad that I did.

The setup is similar to a Subway, in which you pick your bread, meat, sauces and veggies. They amke everything to order right in front of you. The garlic sauce and Tahini sauce are amazing. The vegetables are crispy and fresh. The meat is tender and flavorful.

The staff was very friendly, and the portions were very generous. The price is very competitive as well.
