Pieter Andries — Attraction in Southlake

This was my first visit to Pieter Andries. And WOW! I have been to many Jeweler's and Watch stores since first becoming a fan of watches about 7 years ago, and I have to say today was BY FAR the best retail experience I have EVER had hands down EVER.

I set my appointment up with a very friendly South African gentleman by the name of Tim I believe. He got me in an appointment with Jesse to talk about watches for myself, particularly. I ended up bringing along my father and stepmother as well the day of my appointment.

Upon arriving for my appointment, we were greeted kindly upon store opening and then that is when I met with Jesse. Jesse greeted my son and I and we began to talk about watches.

I have worked in finance for the better part of 2 decades, with a lot of time in corporate training specifically. And I have to say, Jesse's customer service was literally beyond DIAMOND STANDARD. Jesse was knowledgeable, about the products, and showed sincere interest in the choices I was interested in and really just made the entire experience feel less like shopping and more like hanging out with friends talking about one of our favorite hobbies.

My father and stepmother tagged along as well to my appointment, and Jesse guided my stepmother so kindly around various watch models that she had been interested in. She eventually put in an order for a watch with Jesse and she couldn't be happier with her first experience here.

Jesse even spent time with my father discussing time pieces and other items and it was just a lot of fun all of us together enjoying time at the storefront.

We also got to meet Tim (the South African Gentleman) who was very kind and dapper, as well as Ms. India who was just a SWEETHEART, to me, my stepmother and father and my son. India even took my son over to this gem/rock collection and gave him some really cool gem/rocks to take home! made his day! This was really above and beyond and something you just do not see anywhere else in Jewelry stores in the metroplex.

All in all, there plenty of jewelry stores across the DFW to choose from, and then, there is Pieter Andries. If you want top tier service, amazingly genuine and caring, welcoming staff, look no further than Pieter Andries. Our Rolex story didn’t start at Pieter Andries unfortunately. We started our quest looking for two things: a service on a vintage(ish) Lady Datejust that was running slow and a new Rolex to mark a personal milestone.

We went to two ADs in the Dallas area first as they were the closest to us. One in a mall and another a Rolex Boutique, both owned by the same company. The first stop we were told that the hands on our LDJ were likely not authentic and they refused to service the watch. We left and drove to the Rolex Boutique looking for a second opinion on getting our watch serviced. They told us to go to the mall location as they do not service watches at the boutique.

We were VERY worried that no Rolex AD would service our beloved watch. We decided to take it to Pieter Andries as the reviews on this AD were excellent. When we stopped by were were treated completely differently from the other two ADs we went to previously. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. Kami our sales professional showed us around the store explaining all sorts of details about their custom jewelry. We were given a tour of the area where all of their amazing jewelry is made in house!

We were completely honest with Kami about the issues we had at the other ADs with attempting to get our watch serviced and why. Their in house watchmaker took a quick look at the watch and agreed that the hands did not appear to be original but they would be happy to examine the watch in detail and let us know in a couple of days what they could do. We agreed and a couple of days later they called us back and gave us a quote on a full overhaul of the watch which we approved. When we picked the watch up about 5 weeks later it look like a brand new watch and is functioning perfectly. I can’t tell you how relieved we were that they helped us get our watch fixed when the other ADs turned us away.

Back to the new watch search, Kami took plenty of time showing me several of the new watches that are on display allowing me to try on anything they had. I picked out a couple of watches that I wanted and I am on their waitlist and looking forward to purchasing my own first Rolex from them as soon as one comes in.

I called Pieter Andries over the phone sometime in January and was greeted by India Kelly and I was telling her how I was looking for 2 watches as gifts to myself (milestone birthday) and for my father. I told her that I bought my dad and I some nice Omega watches several years ago and now I was looking to acquire our first Rolexes. She invited me to come to the store to meet face to face. In person, she was very friendly and down to earth and I got to meet her brother, Jesse, as well and he was a cool and funny guy to chat with as well. They both listened to my situation and helped me order my dad's watch for his birthday/Father's Day gift. And they listened to my story about how I put off my birthday gift the year before and this past year. We were able to order my father's custom DateJust but I had to wait for my watch. Surprisingly, I got a text from India a couple of weeks ago and I was hoping to hear it was my dad's watch as my parents were in town visiting on my dad's birthday weekend. But in fact, it was a different blessing as she had contacted me to let me know they had my dream Rolex I have been admiring for some time! I rushed there to the store before closing time and although India was busy taking good care of another customer, I got to formally meet Carrie and Jason who took great care of me. The whole team congratulated me on my first purchase and answered a lot of rookie questions about the clasps seeing as I have only been accustomed to Omega clasps. Jason was also extremely helpful in answering questions about many other models I was potentially interested in. All in all, I think the family vibe of this business is what I look for when trying to find a go to place for my watch needs. There are many options in the area, but you would be hard pressed to find one with this level of service...
