Hy-Tech Repairs formerly Staymobile — Attraction in Spartanburg

Would have loved to give a higher review but unfortunately I just can't. After bringing my phone in for a charging port repair a couple months ago, when problems arose with it again I decided to return. And that's when he knew that he messed up... I drop the phone off and leave my number. A week goes by. No phone calls from them. No texts. No smoke signals, no homing pigeons. Nada. So I call them. To find out that they knew my phone was bricked for the lion's share of that week. At this point I'm a little bit annoyed, but hey things happen, and they are going to order me a new phone. How nice right? In theory. Fast forward two weeks later. I've never gotten a phone call, smoke signal, snap chat, email or anything like it from them. I've given them my contact information multiple times, stood next to the guy while he supposedly ordered phone, and yet here I stand phoneless. The staff have fantastic personalities but I just can't recommend them for anything other than an immediate fix that can be done that day while you watch them. If you can't watch them do it on the spot be prepared to call them every day, twice a day to make sure they are doing what they say they are doing. Now I'm going to have to take my phone to yet another repair place to get a second opinion and if confirmed order my own phone. Again, super nice people, and would recommend for a simple quick fix, but expect them to disappoint in the customer service department. Wish I had a different rating to give fellas, but ya done...

Wow! Customer service is alive and well in this business. The two guys were cheerful, funny, respectful, and saved me a lot of money. I went in for a repair and ended up with a new iphone for a great price. They didn't pressure me at all, but did present me with a practical option after weighing the cost of the repair with the cost of a newer, better phone. They set it up and transferred the data. Great job. Great business! Computer repairs also.

This is a couple of months later ... went back in for some assistance on the phone that I bought and a question on another phone that I have. AGAIN, great service by these nice people. They don't try to upsell...or talk you into something new. They address the problem. Thanks...

What a great find!! From the time you enter the store until you leave, Alex and Payne will take great care of you (and your phone). No up-selling and complete transparency as they diagnose and repair your phone right in front of you. If it needs something, they will tell you. If it doesn’t, they won’t.
