Went there a few days ago with a party of 4. Were promptly seated and the host was very cordial. I was surprised at the giant table b/c I'm used to restaurants trying to cramp me in to a tight fit, which I hate.
The host/owner was extremely friendly. He assured us several times that we were going to love the food. I like it when an owner is that confident about the kitchen's execution. He suggested a few different dishes we might like, which we went with.
Everybody thought the food was fantastic. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, someone else tried the Butter Chicken. We got some interesting appetizers, I can't remember their name, but they kind of had a pyramid shape with stuff inside and you dip it into some sauces. That was really good.
The server was also super friendly. She was very enthusiastic about the food as well. The pricing was reasonable for a dinner entree. When it first arrived, I thought it looked very small b/c it comes in a ceramic bowl and just didn't look big. However, I couldn't even eat it all, so apparently it was plenty!
We all agreed we'd be back soon. This was a great restaurant that I'm surprised I had overlooked until now. ...
Read moreYum :) I assumed I would not like Indian cuisine but I was wrong! Upon first entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a wonderful aroma. We were seated promptly and brought water and menus. The menu is expansive and almost overwhelming. There were many enticing choices. I could visit there dozens of times and never have the same meal twice. I ordered tomato shorba soup and panak paneer with cheese. My honey ordered a green salad, lamb kabobs, and garlic naan. They didn't seem to offer regular salad dressing. The server brought us a mint sauce. Not sure if that was the case or if there was a language barrier.
Our food was out-of-this-world delicious. Our leftovers provided each of us with lunch the following day. I am eager to eat there again.... and again and again!
They have a bar with beer, wine, and limited liquor.
Service was a little slow for taking our order and for bringing us our check. Once we ordered, the food arrived promptly. This is by no means a deal breaker. Service was still really good. But this is the reason I didn't give 5 stars...
Read moreI heard great things from the ribbon cutting and couldn't wait to go. The offerings are not the same as the ribbon cutting. They're minimal, cold, half the buffet was empty. The naan was burnt, and they rarely had rice available. The staff was incredibly rude about the 30 min wait for food... on a buffet. It was dirty (forks in a basket, everyone sticks their hands in to grab, cups and plates laying on a counter, touched by all and a drink station that butt's into the dining area). The entire experienced screamed we just want your money we don't care to provide any quality level of experience. No passion. Dismal. Worst of all, when they asked how it was I told them we didn't get to eat cause everything was empty and then shrugged it off, an appropriate response would be a free meal in the future once they figure it out. They just did not care. Day one and they already didn't want to take care...
