This house is an amazing glimpse into the past. I went here once as a child with my grandmother and always wanted to visit it again. My husband, niece, and I went to the Minecraft Exhibit which included the Campbell House so we took advantage of the opportunity. I don't know if going to just the Campbell house costs as much as it does to go to an exhibition too. But it was 20 for adults and 15 for kids/teenagers to do both (the Campbell's carriage house was also open to view). The house closes at 4pm so make sure you give yourself enough time. Lots of different stairways to adventure through the whole house (except the very top floor was closed off). There are benches to rest here and there for those who might have a hard time with stairs or to just sit and ponder the architecture. The rooms are beautiful and furnishings are extravagant. It's simply mind provoking to think about how this house bustled...

Located a short walk from the museum (but included with your purchase) is the Campbell House of old. Employees present really know the ins & outs of the house. History and all. Didn't take much photos inside, but the basement is a fun place to walk down to when it's just you in the house. Great experience, especially for those who want a chilling vibe. Well worth it as it is included with the museum admission.

P.S. I really wished there were more employees as enthusiastic & on the floor at the main museum, in comparison to the ones stationed at this house. Would have made the main museum 1,000% more enjoyable. But, great work on those...

I love this house and everything about it. I however, did not like the tour guide, he said he didnt care about the interior design or anything inside the house. Only talked about the people who lived there. That's nice and all, but some of us enjoy how the house looks and wants to know about the interior. He wasnt very nice to the elderly tourist, was very rude, my friend and I were a few minutes late and he was making comments the whole time about how late we were even tho it was three mins. I do remember his name. I just hope when I go back that I do...

The Campbell House is a beautiful piece of architecture in Spokane's Browne's Addition, featuring bits and pieces of history from its heyday in the early 20th century. It deserves a good amount of time to really appreciate all that it contains. I would like to see more placards or displays explaining the use and contents of each room. It's a lot for every volunteer to remember, and we miss out on so much information that way. I highly recommend a visit or two here for fans of Spokane and any type of history buff.
