   Read moreUpdate 11/26/2023 I posted a Google review in the past about how the door does not work after hours. After the review it worked 4 out of 5 times vs 3 out of 5 times. I am fed up with driving from Columbia to the Spring Hill Gym only to find m barcode does not open the door. Tonight 3 other people we there wanting to work out but none of the barcodes (key tag or app) worked. 2 people said it didnât work yesterday either. That means for several days the codes didnât work while there was no staff. 3 weeks ago the same thing occurred and over the last 2 months this is the 3rd time. It happens once a month and is unacceptable for a gym to advertise 24 hour accessâŠsometimes.
Do the owners actually care? I am not the only one complaining yet the problem continues. I've been a member for years, I workout late usually after 10 pm. Overall a nice gym but maintenance is a HUGE problem. AC was out for 3 months last summer, and about 40% of the time the door does not open when I go after hours. The front desk girl greeted me while she was signing up someone else and told me that I would need to fill out a waiver in order to have her help me look around the gym. I waited a for a few minutes as she was still with the customer that she was previously helping. At this point a man comes out and asks me if I've been helped- I told him no. He asked me what the reason for my visit was. I finally was thinking that he would be able to show me around considering he KNEW I hadn't been helped. He looked at the girl at the front desk, who mind you, was still with the woman she was previously helping. She told him that I just needed to sign a waiver and that I needed to be checked in. This man looked back at me and told me that the woman (WHO WAS STILL HELPING SOMEONE) had it under control. Took a bottle of water from the fridge and turned right back around and left.
