I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment at Pueblo Medical Imaging, as instructed, only to end up waiting 15 minutes past my scheduled time with no communication. When I finally asked about the delay, I was told they were running behind and that it would be another 45 minutes before I could be seen.
What’s frustrating is the double standard — if a patient cancels or reschedules within 72 hours, we’re charged a no-show fee. Yet, there’s zero accountability or courtesy extended in return when it’s their schedule that’s off. A simple heads-up call or text would have been the decent thing to do.
Pueblo Medical Imaging seems to forget that patients have lives, jobs, and responsibilities too. Our time matters just as much. Very disappointing experience.

Follow-Up Review: Time to Find Another Imaging Provider
After my first frustrating experience at Pueblo Medical Imaging — where I waited over an hour past my appointment time with no communication — I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, they’ve now confirmed that patient care and respect for people’s time are not priorities.
Just 14 hours before my scheduled MRI, I received a call informing me that their machine would be undergoing maintenance and that my appointment was canceled. They did offer to reschedule, but at this point, I can’t keep taking time off work for appointments they have no obligation or reliability in fulfilling.
It’s incredibly frustrating — especially when patients are expected to give 72 hours’ notice or face no-show fees. Yet when they cancel last-minute, there’s no accountability, no urgency, and no real apology. This one-sided approach to scheduling shows a clear lack of respect for the patients they serve.
If you value your time, job, or basic communication, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your medical imaging needs. I’m officially done with Pueblo...
Read moreI came in for a referral appointment. What an unprofessional place. The young woman at the desk "Tonya" dark hair girl with glasses was very rude and snide. I walked up to check in, Tonya ignored me for a few minutes and then finally asked for my name. I gave her my name, and she asked for other standard info. She then asked if I had my prior medical documents. I told her no because no one informed me they needed those for this appointment. She smirked and said we'll we can't see you today in a snide way." I was confused. So I said we'll I can see if my husband can bring them here but we live 30 mins away. She said "nope that won't work." So I said okay, so can I reschedule for something ASAP bc this is urgent ? She said "yeah" with a blank stare. I said okay....so? When do you have the soonest availability? ( As if I'm supposed to know when their next availability is), she said with an attitude "Tuesday" I said okay afternoon or am? Then she didn't say anything. She starts typing on her computer, and I'm waiting for her to confirm . She says "6" I said okay yes that works. She didn't say anything else and continues to type on the computer. I was waiting to see if she was going to need any additional info, and she didn't say anything, so I asked, "Are we all set?" She said "yeah". I said, "Oh wow okay well you could have let me know so I could leave. She just smiled and gave me an ignorant stare. Most places greet their patients and actually communicate and are clear with what they need prior to visits and say things like "you're all set fir your nect appointment, have a good day" etc This young woman was rude. Lacks communication skills and is not personable to be working the front tending to patients. I will not be back and highly advise anyone else to seek elsewhere for an attentive, polite, professional, and compassionate staff and...
Read moreI had a truly positive experience at Pueblo Medical Imaging on South Rainbow. Although I was initially hesitant about going—since I was there for a Stereotactic Breast Biopsy—I found the entire process to be much more reassuring and comfortable than I had anticipated.
The team at Pueblo was exceptional from start to finish. They took the time to thoroughly explain what to expect before I entered the exam room, as well as what would happen afterward. Dr. Levin was particularly outstanding. He took the time to discuss the reason for the biopsy, he talked to me about my mammogram and ultrasound images, and clearly explained what he planned to do. His thoughtful communication helped me feel informed and at ease throughout the procedure.
Once in the exam room, Dr. Levin continued to keep me informed, describing each step just before he performed it. For example, he patiently explained the numbing shot beforehand, which made the experience much less stressful. I appreciated how he approached the procedure with professionalism and kindness, making sure I knew what to expect every step of the way.
The staff assisting with my biopsy (apologies, I’ve forgotten their names) were also fantastic—kind, gentle, and attentive. They explained everything clearly and helped me feel comfortable throughout the process. The procedure itself was surprisingly painless, and despite warnings of possible bruising, I experienced no bruising or pain afterward.
Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Levin and the team at Pueblo Medical Imaging. Their compassionate care and professionalism made a difficult experience much easier...
