The Spa and Massage — Attraction in Spring Valley

Not sure how or why this place has such great reviews. My boyfriend and I just left our 60-minute couples full-body massage, and we’re both extremely disappointed. We were taken to the first room on the left down the beige/orange hallway—I believe it was room #6. The room was uncomfortably hot, which made it hard to relax from the start.

This was my boyfriend’s first massage, so we opted for 60 minutes to ease him into the experience. I’ve had many massages across different modalities, and I can confidently say this was the worst one I’ve ever had. My boyfriend didn’t know what to expect, but his reaction was, “If that’s what a massage is, I don’t get the hype.” And honestly, neither do I after coming here.

You get what you pay for—and I would have gladly spent $200 elsewhere for a better experience. I was drawn in by the glowing reviews and was excited to try a new place with different techniques and a different demographic (Chinese massage). Unfortunately, this place just didn’t deliver.

They started about 5–6 minutes late after switching our original pair from a male and female to two female therapists. My therapist was Eileen, an older, shorter woman who barely used her hands—mostly just her elbows and forearms. Even after I asked for a firm massage, her pressure remained light. She spent most of the session sitting on the bed to reach me, and her technique was poor and uninspired. It felt like she wasn’t even trying.

She focused almost entirely on my back, and while I appreciated the attention to that area, it wasn’t done well. There was no real handwork—just enough to spread the oil. This was not a full-body massage: no feet, glutes, calves, shins, stomach, groin, or lymphatic areas were touched. It was a narrow, incomplete experience that didn’t match what was advertised.

My boyfriend originally started with the receptionist, but midway through they noisily switched him to someone named Coco. Chairs were moving, people were talking, and the overall environment lacked the silence and professionalism you expect in a massage setting.

To me, this highlights the difference between Chinese and Thai massage establishments. Thai spas seem to focus on respect, professionalism, and providing a calm, intentional experience. This felt like a rushed, transactional visit—very much a “turn and burn” operation likely supported by paid reviews and SEO manipulation.

There were several problems encountered and noticeable for attention:

1. Assigned two different masseuse other than the one we requested in advance, false promised.

2. Intentionally Over-charged us for what was advertised at Groupon's price although she agreed to honour us the same price

3. Receptionist, Ms V was rude, careless manners when we challenged her about the overcharged payment.

4. Noticed blankets and bed sheets were repeatedly use

5. Facilities requires attention

Our drive for a massage to relax becomes very stressful under this non-respectful environment; we ended up leaving despite we were taken to the room.

Our drive for a massage to relax becomes very stressful under this non-respectful environment; we ended up leaving despite we were taken to the room. **This place is highly NOT recommended if you are looking for a clean and comfort place to relax.

Alternatively, we have found another massage facility nearby which is much more accommodating and inviting..we were treated with respect...

5 Stars - A Perfect Escape into Relaxation! My experience at The Spa and Massage in Las Vegas was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a serene ambiance and warm, welcoming staff. The facilities are immaculate and beautifully designed, creating an atmosphere of complete tranquility.

I opted for a deep tissue massage, and it was simply divine. The therapist was highly skilled, attentive to my needs, and ensured that every knot and tension melted away. The level of care and professionalism was outstanding, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated and relaxed.

I also did cupping along with the herbal massaging oil. The additional cost for cupping is $30 and the special oil is also $30. The prices are extremely fair. If you have never had fire cupping, I would highly suggest you get it here.

This Spa is my go to every time I go to Vegas. Whether you are alone or going as a couple. One of the best spas I have ever been to!
