Anka Jewelry — Local services in Spring Valley

Introduction: Found this Jewel (literally a Jewel) Jewelry business by accident. So I had a watch that was in dire need for an battery replacement. Since I am new to Vegas, I don't know where to go.

Called around and after speaking to a few places, I just don't get a good vibe. I almost gave up, however, saw this five stars rated, thought I gave it a shot and was glad I didn't give up. Here's why.....

Customer Service: 5/5 First and foremost, this place is not opened till 10:00 am. I decided to call at 9:15 am and was planning to leave a message and was surprised a George answered.

George sounded legit over the phone, so I decided to stop by and gave it a shot. Well, traffic was good, so I got there at 9:30 am and guess what? Yip! George let me in and serviced me and I was out by 9:45 am. Holy cow! I couldn't believe my experience.

Most places won't even open the door a minute early. So yes, this is what you call a great customer experience.

Pricing: 5/5 It was crazy reasonable. Look, I am a humungous supporter to small businesses. However, some are truly out of control when they nickel and dime you. Anka literally charged me $5 to replace my battery, the other shady places I called, all quoted me $15-$25.

What a significant difference, it's not just the pricing, but more a principal.

Tips: Although the door was opened prior to 10:00 am, if you want to look at their jewelries, I recommend after 10:00 am so you allow them time to set it up. I truly hope there's more...

I found Anka Jewel and time, while doing a quick search on Yelp, for watch battery replacement. Anka Jewel and time had 5 stars and 100+ positive reviews. Seeing that, was a no brainer for me. Upon arrival, I was greeted and welcomed into the shop by, Karo and his best friend Jiggy, who is well mannered and such a sweetie! Service was amazing! Karo, was friendly, professional and very efficient! I’m a busy woman, and don’t have a lot of time, waiting around. Karo, had all 3 of my watch batteries replaced, in less then 15 minutes! I high recommend, Anka Jewel and time to all, and will definitely be coming back for all my watch repairs and jewelry needs! Mahalo!...

WOW, best service I've ever encountered for all the years I've gotten watches professionally repaired (in this case I needed batteries replaced for a Movado and Fossil watches). Nobody beats the value here. I thought I had found good prices in Houston, Texas, but here they match that AND go above and beyond. Lovely little waiting area with a sweet dog named Jiggy while they gave me a cold water bottle. Also, it was fun speaking Russian with one of the store employees who is from Armenia.
